So i noticed this years Solomon SPK boots have a rubber cap on the toe of the boot. I have the SPK Kaos from 08/09 and every once in a while i will get some heavy toebang. I was just wondering if anybody has the newer models and know if the rubber toe actually works, or if its just a gimmick.

thank you ns

I got the new spk pro's with the soft toe this year and love em. Never had the older models to compare but the new toe is worth the high sticker price.

Does no one else realize the soft toe exists only because the boot itself does not function properly?

There should be no reason or salomon to put that rubber toe in. If your boots fit properly, you shouldn't get toe bang.

I fully agree except when it come to leaning back and riding away or a shit ton of butters you will get toe bang which is why the rubber is there.

how many times have u washed out and got toe bang? it still happens when your boots fit right.

well they probably put it in because the spk is a popular boot and people will buy them regardless of the fit cuz dey cool and shit. so then peeps that want teh koll boots wont get toe bang ether

it also is the best boot for my foot, I respect your opinion but seeing as you have scammed a shit load of ppl you can stfu and nice name change scumbag.

even if a boot fits and you land backseat you will get toe bang, softer toe will reduce this its common thought
