ya thats true u cant really stop it because it says it under teh ammount of posts the person has. it isnt a bad title for someone, it has just been used out of context so that makes a stereotype for every other "newb".....and yes we were all newbs at one time....i kind of still am.....i think newb should have to be stopped being used out of context and should only be used when it is a non-stereotypical use.

im quite confident that either otto rocket or twister hernandez was the inventer of "newb" that and shoobie are their trade marks............. ROCKET POWER!!!! I feel people need to stop complaining about NS and things people post. cause theres nothin one person or anyone for that matter can do to prevent people from saying newb and creating a NS social hierarchy by doin so. NS is much larger then it once was even a year ago, the tight nit skiing family we once had is now gone for the most part

Just because you are a newb on newschoolers, doens't mean that you are a new skier. Skiing isn't newschoolers. Its when you actually go skiing. I've been freeskiing for about 3 years now and never really cared about going to newschoolers. Everyone on here is against everyone else. If someone has a different opinion than somebody else, than they are fckng ridiculed.
 
its not a matter of the number of posts you have its more about time and the quality of the posts

so im gonna say if you're on here for 6 months and people dont hate you... you're safely not a newb anymore
