New york in march

im 20, but some ppl in the group are betweeen 21 and 22
im always the youngest..hahaha it happens i guess
know of any good places? open to all kinds of suggestions

BELIEVE IT OR NOT.. there's more to new york than the city.

that being said, are you asking about skiing in new york state in march? or about new york city?

anyways, jea upstate.

Haha, how many times in your life has someone assumed you lived in the city just because you say you live in New York? I hate that shit.

as for in the city activities, i live in brooklyn so ive become accustomed to williamsburg hipster life and the bars off bedford ave (first stop into bk on L train from manhattan), specifically the the beer garden on 7th and berry for a dope german beer (i loveeee the oktoberfest) and across the street at the Levee for a sportsman (4 bucks for a beer in a coozy and shot of whiskey) as well as the lower east side of manhattan, if im looking to get fucked up and meet people i just wander to Ludlow Street between houston and delancey, and meander thru on of the many bars on that 1/2 mile shitshow. Bullpen on 87 and 2 for a nice sports bar, Public house on 42nd for stereotypical striped shirt manhattan guido-esque pseudo club scene. Ultra for a nice vip lounge / bar (it has a treehouse -so sick) haha shit what a random shitty list. oh crocodile (or alligator) lounge gives u pizza for each beer u buy, that comes in handy, as well as one of the 1359872034525 other fine drinking establishments

Pretty much everything will be open with some nice spring conditions. It mught be hard and icy in the morning but everything will thaw out well before noon and you will have a great time.

hahah so true. i live in a modest town in the center of the state, and that's not something i've never experienced before. (dub negative for effect)

unfortunatly we are only oing to be there for four days, but thanks for all the suggestions!!
are there any not-too-far-away-from-the-city places to ski?? like two hours out or so?
and what kinda fun stuff during the day, cause i googled it, but its mostly just shopping.

go to mountain creek, not too far, sick park apparently. its in NJ, haven't been there but i'm going in two weeks with some friends and staying in the city. i would say that would be a good option, i'm pretty excited to go. i believe its around 45 min. away, but correct me if i'm wrong.

depending on traffic its about an hour and 15 away but totally sweet park scene. ive had a season pass for 8 years now, this will be my first without since i sold my car and just gonna rely on bus trips up to vt, casual weekend warrior status since my job is quite dominating.
park scene at creek went nuts last year when they made the entire south peak into a park. its massive and they have a shit ton of rails and finaly had some decent jumps last year. expect the same this year. within 2 hour drive is hunter and windham, but whenever i travel id rather spend an extra hour or two to hit vermont so i cant say much about those.

but takes up like 1/8th of the land.

March is kind of a hit or miss time around here.

Depends on what you are looking to do?

but the rest of new york is woods, hickass towns, and small shitty cities like buffalo.

new york= nyc

upstate new york=upstate new york

you should go to a show, NYC has a lot of sick venues and there are great shows there nearly every week besides that I hate the city, to crowded and expensive, you also said it before, the only thing to do is shop...
