Some friends and I are deciding where to spend new years up north. We are from the Boston area and all like to ski and party. We want to go somewhere with goodnight life and obviously good skiing (although early season). More interested in night life. We have narrowed down to sunday river, jay peak, killington, other ideas? Where can we go that have shuttle service to the town, i know sugarloaf is good that way? thanks for the help everyone, any ideas are thanked.

i'm going to be at sugarloaf. they have a great night life, shuttle services (which you wouldnt use if your room is in the village), and college week starts jan 3rd, so tickets will be cheap. plus they are opening up 250 acres of new glades this season.

the glades are for the next few years. they just finalized the plans but yea the loaf has a bunch of places... i would say there or killington but the loaf is better in my opinion the loaf has a ton of wicked nice condos and more apartment like spots in the village. and they do have shuttle buses

Whiteface? The nightlife is really unparralleled. The downtown lake placid area is amazing. Snow isn't as good as Jay and the Park isn't as good as a lot of places, but it has enough of everything where you could have a good time for a week or so without getting bored.

the first phase of the burnt mountain expansion is opening this year with 270 acres. This phase includes tight eastern style tree skiing and wide open western style glades. should be sick.
