There’s some trash colorways for sure, but these things last, and the basic colors look fine. I got two jackets and two pants that I got used. Have probably put 50 days on each item, and not a seem rip or anything. Trash them on trees, rails, and mud and still waterproof.

I've just realized saga is just the J skis of outerwear. Every argument is about the quality of the products and even with some banger designs majority are pretty ass and look like they were designed by 7 year olds.

Maybe I should cop some saga and be consistent. Either way 50 days ain't much I've had my R3 pants for like 100-150 days of skiing (somewhere in that range) and they're still literally mint
 
Saga quality at least in the later years was lietrally the quality you’d get from stuff sold at Walmart. Absolutely the cheapest materials and construction. It sucks cuz their pants had 37” inseams which I loved and impossible to find.

That’s fair, I like R3 stuff and from what I’ve heard it’s a similar style, no insulation but a mesh inner with a thick outershell. I hope they get into the top part of outerwear cause I’m sure it’ll be nice.

Main thing keeping it is also the fit, I’m 6’3 and love the XL length, not boxy, sits just above mid thigh for me, have not found a burly shell that doesn’t sit at the hips.

I agree with your take on overly baggy thug era, like this would look so goofy on someone under 6’ imo. Also I’m sure these items have seen well over the 50 days that I’ve had them given the age.

It was always pretty bad the first few years of production ripped the second your edges touched them. Still better than First Drop though, I remember seeing so many FD pants with the insulation coming out

There's a lesson there for sure. I think it is also worth mentioning that companies have to change with the times, without compromising their core values of course. Baggy outerwear with bold and bright colours used to be a lot more popular. This is clearly not the case any more.

Yeah Lesh has always been a kook. I still think the first release from FD is kinda sick although that might just be nostalgia talking. They haven't made a single piece of outerwear I wanted after the pink suit lmao.

not really, the pocket was attached to only one side so it didn't affect the zipper. It was still dumb.

Digital pics of clothing online, no size charts, no thread count info or even if it's a lightweight tee/heavy weight hoodie, handwash only etc. Whole thing seems sketchy and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a third party print on demand manufacturer. Everything is screen printed which would hint to that. Sad that kids will buy these
 
I have hate in my heart generally but I gotta say I kind of fuck with the lightning on the single sleeve theme they have going with the stuff on their site. Not bad at all. As far as third party print on demand, that is the standard these days whether I like it or not. Prices are reasonable as well, this whole project may be overhated.

honestly true, NS is old, some of us have money to support local ski homies. so if you can, do it. As much as I hate IG skiers, they are skiers like us. PoD is the way to sell merch with a profit, alot of industries are doing it. And with the age and influence of NS we could just hate less and support more, IG might win, but if it wins with "link in bio" id be happy.

All im saying is support brands that support skiers. If there is no money invested back in then don't buy.
