New Wallisch vs. Old Wallisch

The breck is still the old Wallisch. I liked 4BI9 thug Wallisch better. It seems like ever since he got sponsored by NorthFace, he has lost his style. Without a doubt he is an incredible skier and his tricks are ridiculously clean, but I would like to see the old Wallisch again.
 
yeah. I liked the old, thug-wannabe Wallisch better. I kind of wished he had gotten picked up by Saga, and a different ski company. Don't get me wrong, The North Face and Scott are some of the biggest names in skiing, and have been for years, and will probably continue to be. But per-se if Saga and Bluehouse, or Atomic, or Nordica, or Line, or a company less clean-cut and more about the do-what-you-want-to-do-philosophy, he might have maintained the old-sty. I hope that makes sense.

But he's still an awesome skier, a really donw-to-earth dude, and he will undoubtedly continue to compete at the highest levels possible, and hopefully maintain a spot in the game even after he is over his competition phase.
 
truthfully for me its the difference of east and west at first you could tell he was from the east because of his rail game but not hes not spinning as much on rails for some reason but still hands down my favorite skier i believe if he didnt tweak his knee befor xgames he probably would have placed
 
I personally like his new style better. He is so clean or rails and he sticks just about every trick he does perfectly. I wear pretty big outerwear but i kinda like his look with the North Face and Scott. It looks so clean. I mean don't get me wrong Henrik's setup is pretty sweet but i think Toms setup fits his style perfectly.
 
Sorry on mobile so I can't quote the part I want to. Honestly though Saga and fucking Bluehouse... Saga yeah whatever but Bluehouse is honestly the worst ski company in the world
 
You couldn't find a newer video of Tom wallisch. A new video of him came out TODAY. He has tons of videos that show him skiing more though.
 
I honestly like how he has progressed. His half seg in Sunny was sick. And his North Face set-up is legit. Plus he lands everything so cleanly, its bonkers.
 
If he was not sponsored by scott then we would not have his 13/14 sig goggles which in my opinion are best I have seen in along time
 
Might seem kind of shallow but if the old wallisch had better quality/HD videos i'd probably like him a lot more.

Really guys? Wow. So Wallisch progressed and now y'all want him to go back to how he used to ride? I would be willing to bet y'all would say the opposite if he hadn't progressed as he has. His riding is sick, super stylish, and has a lot of fun. What more could you ask for?
 
Honestly his only main change in style is his clothing and that affects the way you perceive his skiing.
 
remember when TGR had that thread where some dude took a picture of two park skiers stretching their tees and shit and it turned out to be wallisch and LJ. hahahaha god damn i still crack up about that shit.
 
The old Wallisch was definitely more of a thug than the new. All his style got lost with the north face shit. I wish he could be more like the he used to be and start wearing some tall T's! He does slay his landings and spin pretty crazy crap on the jumps and the rails but has no style anymore. Most overrated skier EVER in my opinion.
 
his rail game will always be tops. And his jump game on a whole another level compared to a few years back
 
The North Face doesn't push the thug persona type skiing that some other companies do or let their riders do. I don't know if they stopped it or if he cleaned it up himself to fit the companies image but either way he's still one of the best skiers out there.
