For the last two years yeah. I think its a good trade off, especially on the wet and wide I would say its perfered. But for the plus, keys, and tank I agree its nice to have sintered.
 
People cried a lot about getting core shots with the sintered ones so I switched over to the Durasurf ones for a few seasons. Both materials have positives and negatives but I like how the sintered ones glide in wet slush personally. Making the Plus series have more "bang for your buck" than ever this year.

i hear ya. i could be accused of being a base material queen, even "just" for park and street, but you're right there are pros and cons. i admire your transparency as always !
