New vishnu rocker

They're at the ski shop currently. When I was comparing my new wets to my older wet plus, the rocker amount was very similar just the very ends of the tips are splayed out more.
 
I'm under the impression you would want less rocker for more "pop" with skis...? Or the further out the tip splay, the better.

Shoulda paid attention in physics I guess.
 
they'll be fine, they're just made more for rails and small stuff as they're very soft. you'll be fine unless you're hitting massive jumps though and in that case you know how to work with different types of skis

disclaimer ive never ridden vishnus (familiar with them tho) but vishnu didn't invent soft skis, we used some hilariously soft skis back in the day. people really overemphasize ski specs and what you can and can't do on them especially online. the ARVs (96) used to be armada's "big boy backcountry" ski lmao

I wouldn’t recommend hitting rails with them, they’re made for power features like big jumps, that’s why they have so much rocker, so when you land a little off it’s much softer and feels better than a stiff ski like volkl which aren’t made for jumps

Okay. Ive seen a lot of people on here like them but i dont know if ive seen Vishnus on the mountain. Maybe I have. Or can you only buy them in America or can you buy them from Europe?
 
I’m from Quebec and just got a pair of wets. I’ve seen a few pairs around here but I don’t know for Europe.

Look for the Vishnu flag of the tip edges separated and point at you like a spear.

i bought a pair on preorders this spring, shipped to Norway. got here super quick. payed a 100$ or so extra on shipping and tax.

my first pair but have tried both wets and wides. they are a ski that can make just about everything fun. skied a snow ball on the side of the piste on an icy day, had more fun than expected.
