New video section

First off i want to say the new site looks sick and i like basically everything.

The only thing that i would keep the way it was before is the video section.

I dont really think the thumbnails are very useful considering the only tell us wether its wmv or mov and i think list form is a much more sensible way to display the videos.

Ofcourse in the picture section the thumbnail layout works great since you can see a preview of the image you are looking for.

The last thing i would change about the video section and in my opinion is most important is having the videos open in a new window. This way people can browse ns or do other things while waiting for videos to load and i think it will work much better.

This is my opinion.

I was just wondering what other people thought about this.
 
yeah i dont like it at all either, its pretty much use less and its doesnt help . i like the old way better
 
im pritty sure there updating it so that u can see a frame of the accualy movie in the thumbnail... not sure tho
 
Yeah, I'd agree. Plus the comments and ratings aren't large enough.. usually I check out videos that have a lot of comments or a high rating...
 
yeah i def agree.. Don't like the thumbnails (these are really unneccessary for videos) and i HATE the new Top Rated. The old formula for computing top rated was much nicer.
 
oh yo, i was talking about the video section..

cause it looks like it just ranks them purely by the ranking.. So the top rated will always just be the most recently posted videos. It appears this way at least.

I'm not saying the photo section is bad,i think thats good
