Alright so is it just me or has there not really been a solid new 360 game for a while? I know Skate 2 came out but those games really aren't my thing, my roomate has it and he loves it and i've played a few times with him...but the only thing i seem to be doing is playing call of duty 4 over and over and over again haha, or when someone feels cocky and challenges me in madden i'll play that. But my question for you guys is are there any games that you play alot that i may have missed? i'm open to anything really. If there is nothing i supposidly hear Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2 is set to release this fall i may just have to wait for that.

Call of Duty: World at War is ok, i just didn't really prefer it over CoD4...its got good maps and such but 4 is just more fun in my opinion...i haven't gotten to try gears 2 i probably should...and fallout 3 i was supposed to play that but my buddy hasn't borrowed it to me yet haha...i think a resident evil game is supposed to come out for hte xbox soon i might get that.

SW snowbarding is fun to just cruise around and jib stuff.Gears 2 is really fun with friendsand i really like nba 2k9and fable 2 is alright

yeah thats what i'm thinking i mean honestly whats better than blastin the fuck out of some zombies? haha i was thinking about SW snowboarding...is it better than amped 3? cause i play that sometimes to jib stuff ha

i always saw that advertised on tv, and saw it got a pretty good rating on gamespot i believe, but i have no idea what its about? what do you do in the game? and what is the main objective?

its an awesome game. A lot of fun, though a bit frustrating sometimes.

i'll sum it up quick. You're a runner named faith in a totalitarian city. You're supposed to sneak packages around by running across rooftops and shit, basically parkour. It's a bit hard to explain, but its definitely one of the most unique and fun games i've played. but be prepared to buy another one or two, cause its meant to be a series of 3

i heard mirrors edge is a joke and takes little to no time to beat... left 4 dead is sick as long as ur playing with all ur friends it sucks by yourself.. but i honestly just love playing halo on live

i wouldnt say its a joke, but it's definitely easy to beat. I finished it in probably less than a day and half. But it's a lot of fun. Maybe try renting it first. There is a lot more stuff to do in the game, time trials, speed runs etc, so its still fun after beating it

my bro bought it and i didnt play much, but i dont know you just shoot anywhere and didnt really liked it. anyway i have cod 5 and its fuckin great man. definetly buy it.

You know Diablo 3 isn't out right? And along those same lines, Starcraft 2 is coming out in a bit and it should be sick.

starcraft 2?? haha thats nuts. coming back after what, more than a decade, with a sequel?
and to the dude asking about SW snowboarding and stuff... SW is okay, its cool but its sorta clunky. if you havent played amped 2 go get it and play it, i know its a few years old but its far and away the best snow game out there

starcraft2.com

It's going to be huge, this has been in development for a long time. It's supposed to be awesome, I can't wait.

Starcraft 2 won't be out for another year at the rate their releasing betas and the like. I'm just pissed because I've been waiting ages for it, and they had the site up like two years ago... Got me all hyped for nothing.

naw man. for one i wasnt allowed to have consoles when i was living with my parents so im making up for lost time. and have you ever played cod or halo? too good. ill never understand the stigma that video games have to some people

i got l4d and it was sick the first couple days, but i wish there were more levels/missions, a bit lame there, but other than that sick, and stoked will be coming out at the end of the month hopefully, SW is decent but the multiplayer is mad glitchy, but really, i didnt know anyone didnt like skate 2, its like crack.

btw gamertag: septicsurprise

See, I was the opposite. I had access to games throughout my childhood and I abused that privilege liberally. I played a LOT of video games, and no, I don't really regret it. They were fun. But then I realized the problem: I could be having more fun going out, meeting people, jibbing, making an ass out of myself... pretty much any number of things, but it was easier and almost as much fun to just play games. But in the end it wasn't getting me anywhere and other things were, in the long run, much more fun and fulfilling, they just required more initial effort. I'm not saying you're sitting around wasting all your time playing games, you're probably not, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that any time spent playing games was wasted time. That's not to say I NEVER play them... but there's better things to do with your time and money. That's all.

i agree that theres more to go and do with your life, but come on, even you must have those nights or sometime when you just wanna chill out, and play something. probably kill some random video game stuff, maybe steal a car, or bus. (ha, guess the game i'm talking about)

i know what you're saying and i'm not disagreeing because you're definitely right, but sometimes even with other people we just chill out and play something

ha, at least you aren't one of those people who says video games have nothing positive to offer, then go and watch a ton of movies. In my eyes, a video game is pretty much an interactive movie. Take gta4, make that plot into a movie, and you have a pretty sick movie.

whatever though, you know. as long as you personally are enjoying what you do

Absolutely, you're right, and I haven't completely cut video games out of my life - there's some nights where there really is nothing I'd rather be doing than sitting down with some friends and blowing shit up.. after a long shitty day, when I'm flat out exhausted from skiing, etc. But I am no longer one of those people who dumps countless hours into CoD, Halo, or whatever and that decision was easily one of the best I've ever made in my entire life.

ha i love video games, L4D sounds and looks pretty fun, but i think i'll just wait till resident evil 5...i did play world of warcraft some got to lvl 58 and then got bored haha it was really fun for a while and no i wasn't addicted haha...but i have more fun with console games....mirrors edge sounds fun maybe i'll got to gamestop tomorrow and pick up a copy...oh and i totally can't wait till starcraft 2 that game is going to be so sick and that first trailer they released like two years ago wass sooooo sick.
