NEW TRICKTAPES!

The new one from Vital should be on its way along with a few others that we have been notified of. But Vital's computer kinda crashed- but is fixed so there was a little delay on that tape. New Way Media told me yesterday that theirs is just about done

Does the hype live up? Subscribers? Opinions??? Post in the reviews section if you feel compelled. It would be helpful for others who haven't signed up.

I hope people dont stop posting their edits on NS in favour of having them on a pay site.. it kinda seems to defeat the purpose of am edits when you have to pay to watch them. still the concept of tricktapes is good.

^ tricktapes if just for like longer edite. not all the real short ones you get on here. and people wont stop with posting on NS at all.

People signing up= AM companies getting paid per tricktape starting in the winter is what is supposed to happen right? so I feel like it would help the industry and help AM companies.

Breakfast money is legit! And Tricktapes is concentrating on being able to pay out each accepted edit starting this winter. That way dope AM companies can continually produce edits to either promote their movie... or save the hassle of the movie production process and try to rake in some cash through edits all year. This will make the quality of skiing on the site always very very high, and progression of parks will take off even more.

New Way Productions' tricktape has just been uploaded...so it'll probably be available in the coming days.

and it's all NEW footy, except for the 3 or 4 DB shots.

The reason why no one has seen IHNY videos from last year and this year is because you gotta pay 10 dollars to become a member to see the new videos on IHNY.net which are made by amateurs and the skiers are amateurs. In this way the amateur skiers wont be known and they cant represent their product as much nor themselves. Great idea!

..................take a second and think about that.

Hey i was just thinking, instead of having two pages showing the tapes, you should just have 1 really long page that shows them so that if more tapes come up, we'll know.

that might be pointless, but whatever

The young one is thinking, he will become strong...

But the idea is stupid, you get free hosting and the web site dosent take much to run. I understand you want to make money, but is that what its about? Why not make it free, get more people to see it and in turn get your name out more.

yea but they do have a few free videos to get their name out more, and in my opinion the bottom line is supporting some AM's in the industry. i think it's a dope idea.

I think the paying for videos is stupid. Theres a million good quality videos floating around the internet for free and not illlegal ones obviously. I also buy like $60 of ski movies per year which helps support the industry besides the park passes, season passes, skis, equipment, hotels, travel, etc. which all helps the industry.

If the ams don't have enough money then get a job.

And the free ones are nice. In ready, aim, fire, who is the dude in the brownish jacket?

(if you wana make some money make it free, get more website hits, put in advertisements)

i dont think its really supporting ams. they wil hardly make any money off this, and if they do its because only a few people get the money which members pay. theres so many groups on it.

ATA Creme de la Creme makes me cream in my pants

best backflip ever and one of the smoothest cork 7 tail grabs from Mr. Clarke

tricktapes = beat

i signed up for it a long time ago and i watched all the videos and none impressed me too much, then i got an email saying that my credit card info was wrong, so i was like fuck that im ot signeing back up

Im not sure how much TrickTapes makes but you have a bunch of diffrent crews to get that cash to. With a lot of people in each group, how is the money going to get out to all of them? I understand that any money helps, but is it worth it? More people will see the vids if its free, and get the AMs names out.

bottom line, fools. ams need exposure more than anything. making a fee based website eliminates mass exposure right away. you're all a bunch of suckas.

last year i bought Right for $10, then a month later got Throback for $15, then went to one of your premier where you guys were selling Throback for $10 and then i found out that Right was in the Bonus of Throback...long story short i could of saved $15

ya man but a lot more work, effort and money went into the production of those DVDs...it's completely different if you're selling something to download on the internet.

Sorry if you feel cheated at all...We dropped the price for the premieres to try and get a few more copies out there. And when you bought Throback to begin with didn't you realize that Right was on there? and on another note...there are a few segments from Right that didn't make it onto the Throback dvd as well as a lot of other bonus stuff....did you find the 15min bonus reel on the original Right dvd? it's got a lot of random b-reel stuff

o yeah, i dont care it was just kinda funny, both movies were dope too and im happy that i was supporting a local upandcoming company too. im stoked to see what you guys do this year. I actually talked to you at that premier, it was the one in Dover when like 8 kids showed and i just chilled for a while after
