Hi old friends,

I recently moved to Vancouver, B.C. and about to get a season pass at either Seymour (value or full) or Cypress.

I am not a big park skier but do like to train from time to time to bring some tricks out there. I believe Seymour is great for this. I would love to know which one of this mountain is the best playground overall.

I would love any suggestions or recommandations !!

Cheers !

Cypress is extremely overcrowded these days (all of them are but most days u can't even park at cypress without being up there before 8). Also the park is dogshit/non existent

I think Seymour would be more ur vibe anyways, grouse has by far the best Park though.

cypress is a glorified local mountain. over hyped and over crowded. on the other hand, there is a pretty decent amount of terrain. im usually at grouse and love the community. never too busy except for around christmas time its a shit show (as with all mountains). the terrain at grouse is somewhat limited compared to cypress, but similar to seymour. for what it counts grouse puts together a banger park and have just added a rope tow. seymour seems to have a super core snowboarding community whereas grouse seems to be a bit more of a ski community.

Not tryna be a dick here, but give it a search... there's a million threads about the north shore mountains. Also though, +1 to Seymour because it has the vibes.

We highly recommend Seymour, the mountain has great terrain. We ski a lot of park but we enjoy the resort for all it has to offer. Less wait, more skiing.

Thanks to all of you, I’m always impressed about how reactive is this community ??

I had a preference for Seymour after some research and it’s always better to have the advices of you guys !

thanks all ! Looking forward to ski with some of you up there eheh
