Title says it all, looking for a ski & binding setup hopefully totalling under $500.

I've been leaning towards Punx with look pivots but open to suggestions. Thanks.

Look on cl or what ever your local equivalent is...check edges to make sure they aint too fucked but that way you can get in on it for chip.

Look after the penis and the dollars look after them selves.

Its a shame they have the same durability as a baby with a soft spot

Interesting to hear. Didn't know anything about them on the durability side of things.

Atomic Punx are pretty sick for a first park ski. I rode my friends for just 1 run and seemed to like them for what they were. Light, maneuverable. I gerenally don't like cambered skis, but for you id start at a camber ski. Atomic Punx and Pivot 12s is a great start up and even pretty advanced setup

How flexible are they? I am not looking for noodles but I'd like to get a ski with a little playfulness to the flex. Thanks for the response.

They're a nice medium flex, soft enough to do butters and play around on and firm enough to hit big jumps without worrying about washing out.

As for bindings they depend on your weight, height, and ability. But if you're a decent skier then FKS/Pivots, Atomic/Salomon STH2, and Tyrolia Attacks are all good options. STH2 and Attacks will also be a bit cheaper than Pivots and they're both excellent bindings.
