what's up everyone. I just moved to san fran from minneapolis. I'm trying to move to tahoe now, but it depends upon my ability to get some real work up there. so what are the best places to ride. I'm living in mountain view now (just south of sanfran). are there any other bay area riders on here?

ride squaw. there are cliff drops everywhere=funfunfun and they have decent parks too. if you just wanna ride park i say you ride boreal. if you want the same kinda thrill as squaw, but don't have the money for a season ticket, go alpine. if you want just cliffs and fun stuff like that but a not so good park with not a lot of crowds, go to kirkwood. northstar gets really crowded but the park is bomb so during weekdays its awesome. Sugar bowl has an asian gaper infestation problem.

Squaw is amazing, alpine is awesome too but not as big as Squaw, and not as much to do. Like it was said, Kirkwood is best for southlake but it's park isn't stellar. PS if you are looking for somewhere cheap to live in Tahoe pm calskierx, he's looking for roommates for his condo in Tahoe City, less then ten miles from both resorts and only 400 a month I think.

yeah kirkwoods park fucking sucked this year but i mean there are so many fucking cliffs in that resort that it didn't matter.

Everywhere was hurting though bro... there wasnt a good amount of snow to make a legit park pretty much anywhere you went. Although, a few places seemed to manage pretty well.. abeit having much larger funds and/or resources going into the park.

I bet Kirkwood will step it up this year though.. They definitely know how to throw down a good line of jumps.. they've done it plenty of times before.

If you haven't moved up to tahoe, I also live around the bay area.. good to know if you want to carpool.

squaw is the best for sure. especially if ur gonna be a local. alpine is like a pg squaw. if you want to experience tahoe those are the best resorts
