we have a few good dumps every year, and u name it the lake probably has it,a bunch of different rails and boxes, a shit load of jumps from 20 to 65 feet as well as hips and otehr goodies, another great park is at nakiska, its got a really good flow with some decent rails and some monster jumps with great landings

It's in the Kananaskis range... about an hour north of Lake Louise off the Trans Canada...

You shoulda saw the park after Super Park, it was sick. I heard they're having it again this year?

Haha, that Brit just stacked it... and landed on that other Brit!

For the record, it is south of Lake Louise. Maybe twenty minutes south of the trans can. About an hour out of Calgary.

Expect good things from the Lake park again this year.

South!? WTF, maybe I just have no clue where they are relative to each other... Wait, no, isn't it South of Calgary and North of Lake Louise? Calgary is further north of Lake Louise and Nakiska is inbetween them, as you said, 20 minutes off the Trans Canada.

Haha, that Brit just stacked it... and landed on that other Brit!

No, no silly. To get to Nakiska, you go about 45 min west of Calgary, then turn south, but Nakiska is essentially straight west of Calgary because the trans-can goes slightly north. Once you get to about Sunshine (Banff,) the highway basically goes northwest til the BC border. Thus, putting Nakiska south of Lake Louise. Or southeast if you prefer.

The pump in tap (aka bumpnslap) is the local bar, chill scene, Melissa's is the same, goes off on locals night and hopefully still does wing night 3 days a week. Outtabounds play cool videos but is a dance club, the aurora is a meat market. Nice skate park. I recommend the HIKE up sulfer mountain, then around the backside (start early, it's worth it). Monod's sports is one of the better ski shops along with mountain magic. Your rent will keep you poor...learn how to cook cheap foods and avoid the mini pizzas and chicken fingers or you'll never make ends meet.

You're old enough to know that you won't get a lot of things in life because you don't have tits' - One of the 1/4 pipe builders at snowjam winnipeg to a couple young boys in response to why we'd let 3 girls on the ramp and not them

Don't think just jump.

Outtabounds is now Hoodoos and it's just a dance club that plays cool videos as he said. I don't think Mels does wing nights anywmore, they didn't when I was there. They just had cheap highball nights where the place gets completely filled. The pool at the Banff springs is nice, it's nice to play hockey at the rink once in awhile. Friday nights at Norquay is nice... Norquay is only good to ski at once but it's the only place with night skiing. It's cool, all you do is go there to jib and hits the kickers (once they build em).
