New to Area, Any Snoqualmie Riders wanna show me around?

Hey guys, I'm stationed at Ft. Lewis near Tacoma and I plan on riding Snoqualmie this coming weekend. Would anyone that skis there regularly want to meet up and kinda show me around the hill some?

hey dude. theres not much at snoqualmie- all to do there is the park at central.

alpental though (i dont know it that well) has quite a bit of terrain. its backcountry is huge and dangerous so don't go back there without people who know there way around.

If you think Central Park is all that Snoqualmie has to offer, you don't know shit and deserve to stay at Central all day long.

ya your prolly right- i just started coming up to snoqualmie a lot this year kuz of the park. all i know is the park and trashcan at west

Trashcan at west?..pretty sure you mean trashcan in the near b.c at alpental.

But theres a hell of alot more than trashcan in the near b.c at alpental, i could take you for a tour if you have the saftey equip (shovel, probe, beacon).

hmm well i was with my friend whose ski'd snoqualmie up there for the past like 6 years kuz of racing and they knew where everything was n' he told me about trashcan at the far far westness of west.

Yes Trashcan is at west.

Hyak is kinda our little secret, nobody ever goes over to Hyak, and the tree skiing there is rediculous. Lots of fun to be had over there.

Snake Dance at Alpental is another fantastic run. Actually, most of upper Alpental is pretty much awesome.

please don't tell me that east gets skied out.

and yes most of upper alpental is sick, the only problem is that it gets skied out quickly. and I really don't like skiing bumps.

^ going along with the original thread It would be cool if somebody could show me some spots at alpental, for booters and such that are pretty safe.
