NEW THREAD IDEA: NON-SKI SPORTS

Ok guys, before you call my idea "insanely stupid" or "op is dildos" hear me out.

I had a new idea for a section under the Forums tab that could very helpful for those that don't have the advantage of skiing over the summer. The forum would be related to NON-Ski sports gabber. So basically this would enable people with questions on a certain activity to yield helpful answers instead of some of the shit they get now. (im not saying all the responses are bad, just about 60-70% of them are)

Basically the Section could be organized as how NSG and SG work, where it is just threads on threads on threads. OR, it could be organized similar to the regionals, where there are sections among main sports (agressive skating, skating, Biking, etc.)

Ive done some serious searchbarring and I havent seen this one, Please leave your comments, concerns, and suggestions here.
 
that's a good idea, but I feel like it would end up similar to the trick tips section...nobody would go there. If you're looking to have an in depth conversation with someone on NS then just use nsg.

the trick tips forum would have been used greatly during this season if it wasn't created more towards the end of the east coast session. It was a great idea, just bad timing.

if this released during the summer months, it would be greatly accepted because people are bored and spend lots of time on here

People would eventually use it if the threads keep getting moved there. One of the problems with trick tips obviously is that people still post most of the stuff in the main forums. And then some of the threads that get moved to that section are trash like if you could do a trick to win a million dollars what kind of cat would you buy.

They mention trick but pretty nsg style imo. idk

because there aren't enough mods in the world to control the trolling some of those sports get

most of the answers are unhelpful or just unrelated to the topic. but theres a few good answers and I feel that people with knowledge of the subject would gravitate towards that in the summer months

I agree with this. I'd post more if things were slightly more moderated in terms of genre. We have M&A, I think we should have an "other sports" forum.
