i absolutely love it, im a runner and training for my first marathon, so i can totally appreciate the mentality that goes into a tattoo like that.

i finally sacked up on got my tat's started. Nothing anywhere near as complex as yours. Just words to remind me of what I love.

But yeh make sure it's something your gonna want for life. Think about it, your not gonna be running 20 years from now, and your gonna have some corpse foot with wings on your side.

hey. i like this whole idea and where your coming from, but...i hate to say it but the foot looks kinda shitty at the angle its in. the whole skeleton foot isnt bad, but i think you should have some variation. like maybe show it at a diagonal angle instead of sideways.

word. after seeing your friends tat, it looked a little off.....not to mention i didn't realize you were getting it so large. talk to skogenchick, she's really into tats and all that

yeah i'd have to agree with the general consensus here and say that the snowflakes and foot=really bad idea. but a running tattoo sounds cool. i don't know about skeleton, though.

I will still be running in 20 years no doubt, My old coach was 60+ and still doing 10 miles aday

but anyone wanna sketch it up

psshhhhh

get it now

and you can think bout it and look at it the rest of your life

i'd get it if i was you :]

most good shops will NOT do UV tattoos, they are still really new in the tattoo world and no one knows what they will do in 10yrs. UV ink is not passed by the FDA and there are a lot of chances it could cause cancer.

i would highly suggest against it.

Before you get a tatoo you should carry the picture of what you want around with you for like a year and if you get sick of it don't get the tattoo.

well since im not the artist i cant give you a 100% pure answer. but he is fucking amazing i can tell you that much. he is doing it piece by piece and drawing it on me which i think takes crazy skill. why make an outline and lock down a tattoo when you can do it piece by piece and have new ideas while working on it. obviously clouds, snow, lightning is gonna be a part of it. he is gonna finish those with color next time. then we will move on to the next peice. i dont know what he will want to do but i leave it up to him.

the artwork of this is good, i like the idea a lot. but the actually tattooing could be improved sooo much!! from the look of the photo after i looked at the bigger one, the lines are so shaky!!

i ask because usually you do the full outline, then shadow, then color because if you mix that up the colors and blacks will end up not matching if you wait long periods between getting tattooed because tattoos change and faid with time and sun.

its jake at 11th street. so im sure you know him. and im not waiting a ton in between everything. so far im schedule three weeks every sit for the next few.

wow that is really wierd then, i have never seen jake work like this.. all of the tattoos i have from him are soo crisp, even my stomach and feet

around 2 hour 45 minutes or so. pushing 3. he was pretty tired. its gonna be a way dark storm so i think its gonna get filled in a lot too.

oh ok, thats probably it. i would never talk shit on jake, i have known him for many years and have a lot of respect for him it just doesn't like his usual work in that photo. i actually need to go see him soon to have him do white script on my fingers
