Pleasse no hate on tattoo's

But who wants to help medesogn mynew tattoo.

Its going on my right rib and this is what I was thinking

Since I run and It is prettymuch my life I wanted to get the "running foot" as pictured (not the run like hell part though"



and since I love winter and skiing is also my other passion I wanted to do something with snow, So I googledsnow flake and foud-



So What I was thinking Is getting the foot with snowflakes in the background. Its taking up my whole rib so its going to be big.

Any one want to help with the design, And since I cannot draw or photoshop for the life at me that is where NS comes in.

So thanks for the help
 
Thats cool but dont tattoo artists usually sketch it out and show you some different ideas.

but the run like hell one looks sweet as long as you like running
 
No offense but this tattoo seems pretty impulsive. How long have you KNOWN that you want this skeleton foot with a tattered angel wing with snowflakes in the background occupying your entire right side? If its what you want do it, but to me the idea seems "thrown together."
 
don't get the snowflakes. it'll look corny as fuck, just telling you. The skeleton foot by itself will look really sick though.

just one mans opinion.
 
Its been about two years of me and my friend getting this one, I already have a tatto on my left side.

My friend just got the foot done

 
I dunno, to me it sounds like he's thought about it. I mean, running is something that he's really into. And whether or not he does it into the future, it's still a part of who he is/was. Same with skiing and winter. I think the idea is dope. Definitely take it to a place and see what they say. Collaborate and get creative, have a product you're truly stoked on.
 
Isn't the rib the one of the most painful places to get a tattoo? I heard that somewhere and didn't know if it was true or not.
 
To me at least, the pain is not the biggest deal when getting a tattoo. The actual intensity of the pain is pretty weak, its just the consistency of it that gets painful. Once you get your first one the pain isnt even an issue for future tats.

and to the poster, If youve thought about it, and you are truly stoked on it, give 'er. its a pretty rewarding experience no doubt.
 
yeah it is, It was where i got myfirst tatto(only one at this moment) and it was intense to say the least
 
The reason i think that looks sick is becasue the foot looks like his hipbone, and the wing are kinda "rib-esque". i still dont know about the snowflakes in the same tat, but its yours, and if your down thats cool.

i dont know about the snowflake idea with the foot, maybe two different tattoos the foot then snow flakes or something else winter like maybe somewhere else? for something circular i think the calf looks awesome,

on a side note im getting a new one in the next few weeks! yay!

 
i think maybe you should have the base of the femur included. if you look fast at your friends, the foot blends into the leg and looks a tad awkward. imo. but snowflakes 907 and 920 are mad cool.
 
I am a runner myself, and have thought about getting a running tattoo. Personally, I don't like the idea of the winged foot because it is so common. One of the most beatiful running tattoos I have ever seen was at a running camp I went to. It was a runner running over a hill in the sunset. The runner + hill were black. The colors of the sunset made it amazing. If the thread designer is interested, I can look for a picture.
 
well since we have been running together since 6th grade... then yeah. Its not going to be the same exact one but vary similar
 
myself and 3 other guys are getting the same tattoo. you guys can call it gay, but its meaningful. we became brothers, as trite and cliche as it sounds.
 
yeah my brothers, sister, cousins and my parents as well as myself all have the same tat, but in different places.
 
search for the blessed snoflakes that had like words praised on them or whatever

find one that means something to you, cause I mean I dunno when i get a tat i want it having many different stories incorperated into it, the foots a little lame ya know like the skull and cross bones kind of deal if you had the artist sketch it out though a smidge differnt itd be sick
 
i like it man, and personally i would find a way to put really tiny snowflakes in somewhere, i like real intricate tats like that. im actually thinking about getting one for biking... i was biking to work today and at a stop light the back of my leg rubbed against my tire and it left this sick design on my calf and i was like shit i should get a tat like that because i love biking.... enough about me dont want to jack your thread, but yeah i say go for it man
 
the old saying "if your friend jumped off of a bridge, would you?" applies to this situation. just look at your friend's torso; its a fucking trainwreck. adding snowflakes would be the equivalent to adding mangled baby corpses to said trainwreck.
 
i agree in this instance. that tattoo doesnt look all that great to me. but hey, if he likes it do it. the snowflakes would be really... weird.
 
you should cop a UV tattoo. So if you dont like how it comes out, you never have to see it unless you go under blacklight
