New store. WTS?

Yeah, for sure. I mean not everyone out there can buy brand new twins, so I'll buy/sell some used stuff too, As long as its in good condition. =)

Looks like its gonna be happening.. White Out is gonna be the name, looking for some property in downtown Kelowna. Should have the store up and running online by this time next year... As far as the actual store, no set date yet.

go pros, ski boots, helmets, layering, gloves, ski poles, and cross country equipment.

i work at a ski shop, and realistically this ^ is what sells the most. also hand warmers. get a shit ton and put them on the front counter. you could run our whole shop just on hand warmer sales.

also, some

Rossi S7s and s3 for the old guys

Rossi Experience 88s for the really old guys

Armada T halls or ar7 for the rich park rats

Line Masterminds for the middle class park rats.

Line Opus for the pollard wanna be's

Line Bacons for... quiver killers

Marker griffon and jester bindings for ppl who want to be cool

cheap shit (10 din) salomon or tyrolia bindings for everyone else.

One pair of the dayglow Rossignol FKS 180 bindings for that guy who is 250lbs and slays the park.

TONS of kids skis (the new tiny rossis come with pre drilled mounting plates, so u just slip on the bindings, set the din, and go)

generic heat moldable insoles. ("Sole" brand is what we carry)

cheap goggles ($20 smiths or scotts)

expensive oakleys (ppl shopping for oakleys dont care about price)

Suff that just sits there, then eventually goes on sale includes:

Brand new snowboards (we also sell used, and the MOVE)

Armada Alpha 1s (expensive for the park skiers they are marketed for)

expensive outerwear (armada, oakley)

expensive goggles

hope i was helpful

aaaaaaaaaaand probably the best comment yet. You were definitely helpful. Store should be going online within the next 2-3 months, in a store next 1-1.5 years.

What I often dislike in ski shops is the lack of nice and steezy beanies. They are always so often horrible ones, maybe try getting beanies from Orage, Salomon, Line, Armada, (obviously Dakine).

But is your shop gonna be freeki oriented or for a wider public ?

Also i would say having small events like movies, bus trips, etc.

For example a ski shop in my area hosts a warren miller movie every year at my local middle school. They sell tickets to the kids in elementary, middle, and high school. At the movie, they raffle off items like 1 pair of skis, a few helmets, outerwear, accessories, etc. This not only provides profit for your store, but also puts in a good name for yourself
