New star wars movie: clone wars

Comes out mid August and its an official star wars film. Takes place between episodes 2 and 3 and its all CGI.

Thoughts on the movie and/or the move to CGI?

Just more ways of ruining the franchise if you ask me. Good thing I'm not going to see Speed Racer and don't have to be put through this butchering of what was once an amazing series.

oh god, i mean it sort of worked to make 6 because he started with episode 4 but this one is just lame, it's like the lion kind 1.5, "let's make money without caring if the movie is any good or not or if it even fits in"

I'm going to go see it. I think its their way of trying to reach a younger market (which will in turn revive the older stuff if the younger market likes this one). A lot of new movies are being created like this (CGI) while still being well done.

Should be interesting to see how its recieved...

exactly what i thought too. i geus its meh, "like i've never seen it before" yeah i've never seen a star wars suck ass. idk, it looks kinda cool, but i have my doubts.
