i would fucking rape at this sport, dropping myself half volleys to blast the net with from far out would be too fun

that being said, it will never catch on IMO haha

what's the point difference between getting it in the soccer net rather than in the quidditch goals?
 
my guess is different point denominations? same thing with the V shaped box at ~ 15 yards out and the goal crease, different shots are worth different points?
 
Reminds me of a sport they would have in a movie that takes place 100 years in the future. And everyone would think it is really normal.
 
Played this all the time in soccer practice...looks like they added a weird upper goal thing and a couple more rules...Handball on Steroids?
 
ehh idk maybe. goalies in soccer have to guard a net that's, what, 24'x8' or something? and lax games have about 30 goals each game (but then, lacrosse is retarded)
 
we played this in gym class in high school. minus the hoops on top of the net tho. it was a pretty intense game then, i cant imagine what it would be like with grown men playing.
 
i think the lines are to show where you can and cant do certain things instead of a different ammount of points. like i dont think they can throw the ball once they cross the line, but they can jump, cross the line and then throw it. it looks like you're only allowed to dribble through the line and kick it in. i think you score more points if you get it in the hoops. im just guessing all this shit though so i dunno
 
Holy shit that looks epic. And to those saying that the goalie is at a disadvantage, I don't think so. It seems that the regular goal is open to thrown shots outside the blue line, and the upper red holes hand shots outside the closer red one. As far as I can tell, kicks are allowed anywhere from anywhere. As a soccer goalie, I'd say that's far from impossible to guard.
 
I'd be stoked to watch this on TV if it got big. I'm not usually into "normal" sports per se but this looks like a soccer game that scores as fast as a basketball game.

I'm in.
