New South Park, What the hell was going on?

I do my best to not make threads, but honestly South Park, not only did you censor the name Muhammad but you censored the entire last scene. You guys were killing it with the 200/201 episode and then you butchered it. I have always been a South Park fan but not when then over censor everything.

discuss this and you views of the old southpark and the recent years.

 
i wonder if these guys ever think they might take it too far with some of their episodes... or are they just laughing at what they've created. i could imagine a couple of guys just loling and not giving a fuck about death threats and shit like that.
 
i actually found the entire bleepage thing annoying at first but then when they bleeped the whole thing at the end it was pretty darn funny. I also liked the Tom Cruise on the Moon thing. the ONE thing I wish they would do is bring back Chef which I know is impossible but it seems like South Park just isn't South Park without Chef.
 
Has anyone noticed how similar this whole situation is to the "cartoon wars" double episode?
 
Matt and Trey are definetly not responsible for this. Those guys could not give less of a shit if the stuff they make is going to get them in trouble. The only people that are worried about this is comedy central - hence why they would make them bleep out the word
 
I've read it, but do you think matt and trey really care? it had to have been comedy central doing it. i honestly don't think they planned on showing Muhammad's face but the censorship was outrageous.
 
Me too, half the time I feel like they do that shit on purpose to piss people off, personally I think its hilarious. Tom Cruise on the moon next to Wilyx(?) or whatever the whale was named made me crack up.

the best part of the episode was cartman. But the fact that they get a reaction out of radical Muslims is really funny. Really if anyone should be mad at south park it is the Christians and Jews, but they realize that it is a cartoon on TV. Hell, the had Buddha doing likes of coke and Jesus looking at internet porn and Muhammad doing absolutely nothing.

You can't watch episode 200 for about another 3 weeks, so you prolly won't be able to watch 201 for at least 3 weeks on there, i saw that too last night, ridiculous
 
are you fucking kidding me? that's the kind of pussy talk that gets those shit heads what they want. I wish they didn't censor it, but then again i'm glad they censored it, because it shows how rediculous the network is for giving into the demands of a couple dirty jawa's 1000's of miles away.

people need to loosen up...south park has been making fun of shit since day one....you don't see people bitchin that jesus was in imagination land.

i mean come on its a bunch of elementary school kids with extremely fowl language...and they pick on topics in real life....if it upsets you don't watch...stop ruining it for the people who have a sense of humor.

The newest episode comes on the night after it premieres and stays on for a week, then it goes away like 200 did for 3 weeks. I don't have a tv, lol
 
I forgot to watch itlast night, so i went to watch it this morning becuase i record the entire series, but its not there, what the hell happened in this one?!
 
a muslim group threatened trey and matt not to show an episode where muslims extremist (and gingers) threaten south park for showing muhammad. they must have planned it
 
I wasn't entirely certain whether it was part of the episode or not until the end when it stopped bleeping and Stan says "Yeah." Gotta be a joke.
 
Haha that's what I thought too. 200 and 201 were definitely the best episodes I have ever seen. They were hilarious. Fuck this bullshit, show the episode uncensored.
