26" at the base lodge, 36" at mid-mountain snow stake. These pictures were taken Friday morning March 3.

The snow is so deep that it's mandatory no turning in some spots. Over the head, no seeing... the skiing is at a silly level of off-the-hook.

More snow is expected to day and tonight.
 
so deep it slowed the prophets down in spots.....

summit six lift = closed 11 a.m due to wind and lots of avalanches. It was snowing 2 inches every fifteen minutes for awhile this morning....

wow i will definately be there tomorrow. i guess i gotta bust out my old jacket too cause im gonna be soaked in my orage one. ill be ridin in a blue jacket and tan pants on my VCT's. come say hi
 
So deep today... tommorow will be crazy, it's definately mandatory fat skis. I had my little center mounted scratches and it was miserable trying to ski it.
 
yup. i will be there bright and early so i can get breakfast and then catch one of the first chairs up. i fuckin love alpine's breakfast. their french toast is so damn good.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM SUNDAY TO 4 PM PST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

THE LATEST STORM WILL BRING GUSTY WINDS AND PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 FEET BELOW 7000 FEET TO LAKE LEVEL AND 3 TO 4 FEET ABOVE 7000 FEET CAN BE EXPECTED BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

YAY for march Pow and the 10 has 8 days of snow in it!!
 
yay! more to come! too bad by the time i get to it itll be tracked. but whatever the more snow the better. today was awesome but unfortunately on got to stay for a half day. i had to come back to watch our basketball team win sections!
