New sled with student loans?

Just copped a couple extra g's from uncle sam. What have others done with this enormous amount of money? I'm thinking of a new skidoo, and a trip to japan, Maybe I'll just gamble it all? Advice from other financial wizards out there? Making money in the future will be easier ya dig?

If you think about it as an investment into being a pro then it makes sense. Use the money to buy a sled, camera and make a video part. Then attract new sponsors and use the money they give you to be an athlete to pay your student loans.

Sounds like a working strategy to me

If you don't need it for tuition or housing, pay off some of your loans or save it, invest it, etc. It's a student loan don't spend it on a toy and vacation.

Sled it’s an easy choice. Although $2k isn’t quite enough for something modern and reliable

I used mine for rent help, but the last year I took a little extra for a MTB.

Now I’m paying it off and it alright, I recommend just working and saving honestly.

I spent mine on my dream ski setup (5 pairs of skis) and ski trips every week I was off school.

Totally worth it.

The fact that you have even asked this question implies that you are not financially literate enough to be making decisions with this level of complexity. Me on the other hand, has used my business skills and knowledge to compound my assets, and inflate my cashflow to propagate my net worth up to 6x its original value. Its a risk-free, simplistic way of gaining money I invented myself. I call it, “Betting on red”.

So you walk into the casino with $50 right. Go up to the roulette table and watch a couple rounds. Wait for it to hit like 5 blacks in a row, and then bet $10 on red until you hit. Statistically, its not gonna hit black 10 times in a row, so you’re guaranteed to win minimum $300 every time you do it. I am now a multimillionaire and own a massive corporation under the alias Rodney Sacks to protect my identity, everyone wants to know my secret.

I thought about it when I was in college. Im glad I didn’t. Its personal choice of course but I didn’t get one because; its a depreciating asset, its even more dangerous than skiing/snowboarding, you will need a trailer/pickup, which have cultural markups and are depreciating assets. I got a whole life insurance policy instead.
