New skis

I just turned 16, and I think I’ve finished growing so for my bday my parents are blessing me by letting me get any ski and binding I want, within reason.

I ski on a pretty small mountain on the east coast, where jumps aren’t large and the focus is more on rails. I don’t really need that stable of a ski, and I’m thinking something pretty soft. It’s gonna be a ski just for the park.

I’m 6 foot and weigh about 125, ability wise I’d say I’m about a 2.

Advice on bindings and skis?

look pivots will be the best binding to get if you want to keep your legs safe, what ever ski you choose 180-183 will hit height and 176-179 will fit your weight the best would be some where in the middle. Armada arv 86 or 96, bdog, edollos, and line twall pros are a good place to start looking

Look pivots or tyrolia attack series for bindings. You'd like: ON3P Magnus 102 or 90, Line Blends (super soft), Vishnu Wets, Armada Bdogs, pretty much any soft durable jib ski would be sweet for you but those are some ideas

The line blends come in 178 and 185, I'm pretty much right in the middle of the two. What size do you think is better?

I cant recommend line, especially if your parents are willing to spend the money, I would say look around at different brands, and k2 poachers, are a great ski for example. For sure look around at other companies though. Also, pivots or attacks 13and up are the way to go for bindings for sure!
