Im looking at some new skis for all mountain/big mountain skiing. Im 5'6 115lbs. I currently ski Armada Ar5s 170. I ski everything from groomers to bumps to powder. I go into the park sometimes but i like cliffs and glades the most. I'd say I am an advanced/expert skier. I have a season pass to Gore/Whiteface, but i go up to Stowe,Killington,Jay,and Mad River sometimes. I also go out to utah every year for a week. Im deffinately looking for a ski with a waist around 85mm. Twin tip or not... It doesnt matter. I've narrowed it down to a few skis.

Im probably 40%Glades 5%Cliffs 15%Bumps 10%Groomed 10%Park 20% Off Piste

Mad trix mojo. I ski my mad trix all of the time and i love them. I ski them a lot more than my 'all mtn' ski. The mojos are good for everything.

Success often walks side by side with sacrafice.
 
the mad trix mojo would be a good ski for you. besides all the things you listed, they are really durable.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

out of those i's say the Pollard is a good bet, i ride a fat volkl, and its awesome, so if the Karma rides anything like the Explosives, theyll be sick

I'm surprised you didn't list the tweaks. i believe they have waist around 85 mm at least...they are great for all mountain skiing, allowing you to be able to carve the groomers, hit the park, grease the rails, ride the powder, and shred the trees....you can even get an edge on ice! you can probably find a shop that demos them...and i would definately try them if i were you!

i think youre thinking of the stomps...the tweaks are skinny 74mm i think the stomps are 88mm but they dont come close 170..only 176

how bout quit being so fucking picky, just get some twin tips and then your good to go. It's the skier not the skis.

but is it really the sticks? just pick what you like to do and see if the ski fits those expectations without hindering the other specifications you want on em and voilà!

most the twin tips you are gonna see in the shop are gonna be fine, just pick up the cheapest pair.

I just bought myself a pair of 185 Volkl Karmas. They rip all ountain. They are nice and stiff unlike alot of the twin tips on the market now. Even with the 87 waist, i still ski moguls with them and could pop off quick turns in groomers and such. I am the same way, I love big mountian and dont venture into the park that much. The Volkls are really nice cause they give you alot of versatility. They destroy it when the snow is low, and when you get some pow, the 87 waist will still be like heaven. Just buy em now.
