Kai's are the best skis I have ever ridden. they do have a minimial amount of camber, but im not sure why thats not advertised. its a bit less than chronic camber.
Anyway, they are the snappiest skis I have ever used. They really fucking rebound like a spring. APO knows how to make their shit pop and its effective throughout the season.
Skis are stiffer than advertised (depending on weight obviously)since they were made to be a comp ski after all, but still super fun, especially when you break them in. They are honestly the perfect flex for rails when they are broken a solid amount.
The rocker is noticeable in slush and really allows you to ski over it like its not a problem (HUGE plus for east coast spring skiing).
durable enough for over a season, but probably not 2 if you ski moderately hard. If you take it easy they will last a good while. Bases are fast and decently durable. Edges are more durable than expected. sidewall tech to prevent chipping ACTUALLY PREVENTS CHIPPING. never thought any company would actually have something to work, but it does a beautiful job. I only have a few minor chips in the tips and tails from ski crossovers.
overall, 8.5/10 on a scale of 1=shit 10=perfect. thats being super strict and only reason why they arent 9/10 is because they are a bit difficult to ski on solid hardpack/ice if they are broken in because they gain more rocker from butters and they get a super short effective edge that feels sloppy to ski on. if reviewed from only a few days, I would give them a 9/10.
