New Skis :)

Hey Guys:)

My names Merlin, im 15 years old, and i am a good skier on the regular groom! I never been in a park, sometimes in powder, but i would like to start freestyle skiing, and i need a ski thats excellent in Park, groom, and can handle just a little bit powder ;)

Im 110pounds and 1meter 70centimeters high!

I ride the skis in Switzerland,.10minutes from my home away:)

I check out some ski on different website and i use google a kot, these i like very much: Armada Ar 7 - it should be a great park ski,.but i dont know how he can handle a bit of powder?

A stiff ski

Rossignoll Scratch

I dont know much about him- just he is stiff

K2 Revival

Should be a great Allmountainski!

K2.Domain

Should be a great park ski-but its soft, how can it handle.powder, and is.a.soft ski good?

Other Suggestions? Völk Wall perhaps?

And, can i buy a pre year model, theyre most a bit cheaper!

Regreets from Switzerland;)!

Merlin

Ah, i forgot:

60% park,.20% groom 20% little pow!

The budget is open, because here are the prices not the same as in USA!

I hope i done everything right,.amd sorry for my bad english!

Enjoy the night, greetings!

If you like stiff get the el Rey it's affordable and a great ski to learn park on if you are looking for more of a flexy ski check out the thalls

Hello :)

Thank you ;)

Yeah, thats the problem, i never ride a park ski and i dont know should i go for a soft or stiff one!

Whats the different between these and mine?

Greetings

soft skis are generally quicker turning and more forgiving to use. they are very fun for rails, but if big jumps are something u want to get into, having a stiff ski is important for stability at speed.

for starters, i would check out the line blend. its very soft and user friendly in the park, but is a little wider and has rocker, so it will ski in pow better than the average park ski.

Hello :)

Thank you very much!

Thats nice to hear! Big Jumps=stiff ski,.grinding alot = soft ski?

Ok,.two questions:

Are soft ski okay for the groom?

And,.what are big jumps? I jump alot, but not more than 3meters i think, but this season i think i jump more,.and grind more...but not huge jumps like in videos from tom wallisch :).Im too baad for that, hehe, who is as good as tom Wallisch ;)

3 meter jumps are not really big jumps, more the 7 meter range comes close. ill suggest taking a soft ski.

but on the other hand, my amplid c7's are pretty damn stiff and so much fun to actually go as hard as you can!

Hello :)

Yeah, 3m are little.jumps, but this season i try to jump higher and wider! I think both could be good for me, should i take these, which i like :)?

Is it okay to buy the pre year Ski ?

Thank you for your help... its a shame that i cant by mi skis today, im on vacation!

Ps: We havent talk about how the ski rifes in Powder... i just ride 15% Powder, but which ski do you prefer for Park AND Powder?

Greetings

icelantic danollies, the graphics are fuckin gangbusters and it's a pretty wide ski so if my mountain happens to get a pow day (almost never) i can still have some fun with it. I've tried a lot of different park skis over the years and switch from a lot of different brands, these are by far my favorites.

Hello ;)

Okay, here are some models which i like...

Armada Ar7

- Should be a great park ski, really lightweight, but how is it in some little powder?

Line Chronic

-i dont know much about him, tell me more pls ;)

K2 Domain

-Great Jib ski, but is it too soft and how is it in some powder?

Rossignol Scratch

- i dont know much about him

Okay, i ride usually Park, i think about 50%, 30% on the groom, and 20% in powder...

Which is the best one for me? Can you help me? Or do you need more infos from me?

Merlin

ar7 is like a full on park ski, armada el rey or salomon threat would work well for all mountain and powder skiing because they are fairly wide at 85mm for both of them
