New skis

I'm thinking about buying new skis next year, early this season i bought a pair of volkl walls off ebay and the whole top edge ripped out an because of them being purchased on ebay they didn't qualify for a warranty, anyway i was looking to get some opinions on skis. I'm looking for a stiffer ski that holds up and doesn't have a history of having problems. Also it might help to know what to stay away from. Thanks

Pipe cleaners are on the stiffer side. They're super fun and hold up really well. You might also consider Amplid Antidogmas or k2 extremes
