New skis?

I'm heading to whistler this season to work and i need to pick up some new skis.I'm looking for an all mountain ski. I am about 5'10 and 150-155 pounds 20 years old and am a good skier looking to improve. I'll be sking groomers when i'm instructing (beginner kids) and i'll be skiing pow/park/groomers, fairly equally depending on weather, when i am not working. i have done some research and came up with: 175 ARV's, 179 blends, 177 bridges or maybe 181 msp's. Any comments about the skis aswell as suggestions would be appreciated.

because they are sick.

they do both slay the park, but the bridges are stiffer than the blends, so that may sway ur opinion?

Yeah dude check out the Brigades. sounds like it would be a good pick for you. rode them all last year and loved them. The bridges are an extremely sick ski too though. For whistler though, personally, i would rather have a little more ski under foot. Brigades are 98mm and the bridges are 92.

I just sold NEW 185 ARVs with used Look p12 Jibs for $400 shipped. Not gonna say its a bad deal, but just giving you a comparison.

i'd look into some prophet 100's, super sick i absolutly love mine and they're solid all around everything ski, the ARV's are nice too, I'd deffinitly put a wider ski into consideration based on how many pow days (and how deep) you may be getting)

The ARV's are some pretty sweet skis, but I wouldn't say that was a great deal. It's not bad. Depends on the condition of the skis/bindings too

whistler = mucho mucho powpow so i would imagine you'll wanna hit more pow than park. therefore, extra width is your friend here: 90-100mm waist would be about perfect i think.

179 seth (98 waist)

178 brigade (96)

177 fischer misfit (94)

176 Big Trouble (92)

177 Bridge (92)

179 Blend (90)

these all carve pretty nice on piste, float well off it and can handle a bit of park. i'd go seths or brigades personally. if you want something a tad stiffer, look at mojo 90s or prophet 90s...

Thanks heaps for the help. Its hard to decide because i want good performance in all conditions. the reason i don't want to go too wide is i do need to be able to use them on groomers when i'm instructing. when i watched the prophet video they suggested the 90 would be better for the groomers. waht are the prophet's like in the park??

doing some more research. i don't like the fact that the seths have a rocker in them i think it will make them harder to use on any ice or on the groomers. i would really like to now how the four orginal skis i mentioned would handle in pow. i know they won't be awesome but anything over 90 in the waist should be able to handle the pow. right??
