New skis

I was in a shop checking out skis and he bought out the 05 1080's. I would have to say i was impressed with the ski shape and size and graphics and flex. But i guess looks can be deceiving since They delaminate and the foam core breaks down. How easy do these skis breakdown?

Alot of that is just poeple talking shit. I'm not saying that a ski every now and then wont delam because thats true with every ski company. I rode 1080's for two years pretty hard and I never had any problems with them what so ever.. all and all a great ski IMO.

the new 1's still have foam. but much better. the problems not so bad anymore.still for the price i would get a k2,line or armada ski or mayb volkl. im not saying go by the brand but those companies seem to be more reliable and u knowthey will be sick.
