Yes i have used search bar but STILL can't judge if its not my thread. Well i had a pair of k2 silencers but the quality isnt really good. So i've used them 1 season and theyre not in a very good shape. So i want to buy a new ones. Wich skis do you guys think? I am thinking of getting line afterbang. suggestions plz?

some more information would be useful, e.g park/all mountain ratio's, experience, age, wieght etc.

The afterbangs are a 100% park ski, you'll be able to have fun on them but the extruded bases make them slow and they've had mixed reviews on here, if you're looking for another couple of inputs I'd say...

Volkl Ledge, Armada Ar6, various Amplid. And if you're looking for more all over the mountain maybe the Liberty LTE, Line Chronic or something like that

171 liberty lte, super light, very durable, uber amounts of pop, bombproof edges. They are stiff underfoot to stop jumps, but soft enough in the tips and tails to butter

I love LTEs (I actually haven't ridden them, but I'm riding the Phil Larose right now, which is pretty much the same ski with a different flex pattern, but I've also skied skis with similar flex patterns to the LTE and before riding I know they're going to be sick). Also, look into next years K2 Domain, that's the ski I'm going to be riding for a while, again, since they're band new, I haven't ridden them, but they have zero camber, like literally zero that's not just a marketing thing, if you put them on the floor with no pressure they are flat until you get to the early rise in the tip and tail. They're really good for butters and press and also really good on rails because since they have no camber the swing weight is reduced and there is less to catch on rails. I'm curious about the pop with them, but we'll see. Afterbangs are really fun in the park, tons of pop and have low swing weight, they're a bit too soft for my taste, I couldn't really control my butters and press like I can with other skis, and they're not great on groomers, I mean they'll get you around and stuff, but they're not the absolute most fun ski to rolling around the mountain on.

thanks. +k.

Well 500 bucks is to much for my budget. i was thinking around 300-400. Cus my mom is paying haha!

btw its gonna the bindings is gonna be center binded. Let's say 70% park 30% mountain. When i travel to åre ski resort wich takes like 7 hours im skiing at the park very much then we go hit the slopes just having fun. And i take som rides with my parents. When im at home its like 95% park. sooo. know you know like exactly

If you want another option look at the Volkl Walls. Fully symmetrical, great park ski with surprisingly good all mountain performance. Not as soft as you are maybe looking for, but they do break in after a few months of riding and can butter well. Plus they are well made and durable.

Yeh its a nice ski. i think its pretty stiff. But his was to small for me. BUUUT Its not good quality he had em in 1 week and the "ledges" was broken...

No :) i ment ledges :) Im thinking of getting liberty LTE but they are so damn expensive... But i want to get som armada skis they are the SHIT

hate to break it to you man, but my fucking suspects held up better than my ar6's by far. Their cores suck some mad shlong, both mine and Chrris both rockered severe in a month.

get some:

liberty lte's

on3p blue steele's

those would be what i would pick for 400-500. (im getting blue steeles btw)

Ok. Thanks. OOH man i hate this! im always complaining XD. well i dont like "fat skis" and yes you told me about suspects ill never buy them of all bad critic for it haha. Im thinking of getting 2010 armadas or 2011 k2s. I got k2 silencer and im pretty dissapointed so thats why im getting new

Both you and aandbackflip had 111 posts when I got to this thread... Weird. Try some chronic cryptonites?

I have never ridden them but my friend's boones exploded so he picked up a pair and said they were one of the best skis he's ever ridden.

i belive this kid needs a 171 cause he is gonna grow so to choices: liberty lte, on3p jmo, ar6
