New skis, wanting something aimed more outside the park, suggestions?

Alright so here's the deal, for next season I have a new pair of troublemakers, I also have a pair of pipecleaners, so I'm set for my park skis. I want a fatter twin I can mess around with outside of the park and I want a ski I'll be able to use in deeper snow and inbounds backcountry when I travel places. Looking for something on the softer side, rockered is good too.

I can proform K2, Volkl, LINE, Salomon, Dynastar, Fischer and Nordica skis so I'm looking for something from one of those companies.

Also need bindings to go with the skis, I can proform Marker, Salomon, Dynastar/Look and Fischer bindings.

Info:

160 lbs

5'11"

"type 3" skier

328 mm BSL

brown hair

Any suggestions? I'm open to stuff besides companies listed, but I'd like to keep either skis or bindings on a proform.

Thanks!

hey whats up man, im your size and even have brown hair too lol, so i say you should get obseths with jesters. its such a sick setup and its super versatile. sooo much fun

Nice dude, yeah I've skied that exact setup and it is awesome! I kinda forgot about those thanks, that is now at the top of my list.

so you dont know anything about the ski then. dont suggest a ski if youve never ridden it

and to answer your question, it seems like you would want something rockered. with your size and ability, i would say a 189 hellbent would be perfect. as for bindings, fischer x17 are bomb

Thanks for the suggestions so far, looking at those pretty seriously.

Is there anything from LINE you would recommend? I have athems but I only know basics about the rest of their lineup.

prophets would be nice, but i prefer something a little softer like the blnds. I rode blends and griffins at bachelor all over the mountian and loved them.

Look at the EP Pros possibly. Sir Francis Bacon could be a good ski: 115 underfoot, soft, wide all mountain, but no rocker. I have Hellbents and love them to death, they're work in the park, but they're fun.

definitely bacons. sooooooooooo fun. and, you can take them all over the mountain no sweat
and, my roflcopter took off when you said brown hair. I also went for a lollercoaster ride.

I really like the sound of these, a lot. I've heard a lot of good stuff about them too, just never really checked them out. This is gonna be hard to choose something.

Glad you had a safe flight :)

First off this guy has no idea what he is talking about. Pontoons are one of the sickest directional pure pow skis, but the thread creator wants a powder twin-tip with all mountain versatility.
May I suggest from each brand you listed:
K2 Obsethed (138/105/125, small tip and tail rocker)Volkl -noneLine Sir Francis Bacon (142/115/139 normal camber)Salomon Czar (131/11/121 tip rocker only, but full twin tip)Dynastar Huge Trouble (140/115/130 slight normal camber)Fisher -noneNordica Zero ( 130/103/130 (zero camber)
I would personally pick the obsethed

Thanks man, good post.

I think it's going to be up between the obsethed and the sf bacon, the zero looks really sweet too though.
