hey, im about 6'1 and 150lb and am looking into a new pair of skis.. i ride mostly the park and sometimes just basic all around skiing.. rarely powder only once and ahwile if i get the chance.. what length of ski do u recommend and what are some good skis to ride:) thanks

^ wow that is a broad question. There are tons of good skis out there. Length depends on how good you are. 150 lbs isn't a ton, but you would look a little goofy on 170s because you are so tall :) Go to your local shop, check some stuff out, see what you like(as far as the eye goes I guess), ask a couple of questions and narrow it down. I ride scratches and love them, but I am sure the next guy will tell you Pub Enemies or Troub Makers. Good luck

getting your wisdom teeth out sucks

i'm kinda of the same dimensions as you (i'm 6' 140 lbs.), and i ride mostly park and a little all-mountain. i have the 179 K2 Public Enemy and it is great. i'm not telling you to get these or anything, i'm just telling you that they are a very nice ski and i highly recommend it.

id reccomend the line 1260 182cm good ski for what your looking to do

Line Skis

Oakley

Scott Poles

Siver Cartel

Yeah from what it sounds, the PE's at 179 or the Lines at 182? would be a safe bet.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

All twintips are going to work, I would just get something around a 175-185 depending on your skill then pick the ski with the sweetest graphics, its seriously the only way to decide if you ask such a broad question.

Here, these are my suggestions. i personally ride TMs, and will not ride anything else unless something better comes out. it is real soft, but somehow manages to feel stiff on landings and takeoffs. It is truely an amazing ski.

but here are some other suggestions:

1260, PEs, Good all around skis that are super light. have medium flexes

4frnt- super light, but real stiff and not a lot of sidecut.

TMs and fujatives, soft, snappy park skis. the Scratch series are also pretty soft in flex.

Head mad trix- real solid ski. a little heavier, but solid as hell

the 1080s are good all mountain skis to, ut i personally am not to fond of them.

Lets go skiing

Yeah, eat some meat. I weighed 140 when I was 5'6, and I was 14% fat, which is like pro athlete level.

yes, olympic athletes regularly have less than 5%. but an average professional sports team trainer will attempt to get every player below 15%.
