alright, i just slammed my head on a rail 2 times in a row cause when i jummped on the rail my skis didnt move. anyone have good ways of getting the edges good for sliding rails?
man....if u thikn thats a good idea, u are an asshole. i guess if u never wanna arc a decent carve ever again. must be strickly jibber if u do that shit to your boards.
Just switch your skis up when you're in the park. That way the edges you fuck up however you want on rails aren't quite as important when you're carving a turn.

Humm, i hadnt thought about this. I've done lots of railsliding this summer and early winter, but mostly on grassy stuff so i havent been using my new skis. I wonder if i'm going to have a problem the first time i try to jib with them.
well seeing as how the part of the ski you slide rails with is not the part of the ski you use to carve, filing down the edges under the boot wont do shit
Hehehe first of all I agree, dulling your edges is a must for nailing rails but its funny..what would racers and dudes from before rails think of us saying 'just grind your edges down and detune those bitches' kinda funny
oh man when i got my twins last yr my dad tuned em up and everything so im like no you dont have to, but he's like naw it kool so i go okay. so i start sliding rails w/ basically race tuned edges but i had no problemo.

Are some skiers trying to copy snowboarding?
Tanner: There\'s a small group of people that are doing that, but I think for the most part, there are a bunch of Rollerbladers and skiboarders that are being gay.
