New skis +++ Karma

So this is my second season of skiing, and I’m looking for

some new skis. I have a pair of Salomon

flyers (161) and I’m looking at the option listed below. I’m 6’0 145lbs and ski mainly park, but a

lot of everything.. So, for the

easiness of your NS choices, I’ve listed some options with a number. Just post the number you would suggest. For 11 and 12 please be specific, as I’m not

too sure which skis are appropriate.

just a word to the wise, the suspects and dumonts are exactly the same, the dumonts have 2x as much edge armor though. it really just depends on what graphic you like more, or how much you wanna spend

Ya, I partly knew that. But the dumonts seemed stiffer imo.

Whatever you do, get something around 180cm. 161 is way to small.

3 or the dumonts... hands down...... super sick ski..... i ride em and their holding quite well...

best ski i've riden yet...

11 - Larose Pro model 171 or 178, or go for the Hazmat 181 if you want something less park-specific

Ya, pretty much exactly why I need new ones.

Plus they are just falling apart and ya.

Liberty hazmats, they're real nice. These skis are good for pow and park so you will have the all mountain kind of ski. The flex is like medium for a six foot guy.

this is also my second year of serious skiing, and Im only 2 inches taller than you and ten pounds heavier, I got anthems and i FUCKIN LOVED THEM!, since they are center mounted, it makes the ski wicked balanced, and it is alot easier on rails/boxes, also invaders are basically the same ski except skinnier, anthems=wide, invaders=skinny, pick either one, and you will not regret it.

i.m 6'1 and 150lbs i got a pair of invaders they are preetty sick but i dont ride with other skis so.. i dont know what is the best for you

8 but make sure its the 08/09 model

then new core is a lot lighter

and yes you definitely need something around 180

Thanks guys. It's been helpful, and everyone had gotten ++karma.

Except its still hard to choose there hasn't really been the unanimous vote i was hoping for., but you can't expect that with all the good skis out there.

get the Reno's. bent skis are so cool right now. and you're in ontario - what exactly is there other than park? ya know?

Probably on the softer side.

I want a bit more of a forgiving ski, but something that can handle mostly everything.

Took my Anthems out for the first time this weekend. Perfect ski. Did great in the groomers. Took them into a little pow in the trees and did great. Hit some little kickers in the trees and out. Road switch easy. Hit a few boxes. Great great ski.

7, but hell, 161 on your old ones is very much too short for a 6 foot guy. get 175+

WORDi myself went with 8 and love em but if i didnt have a 300$ store credit with evo who doesnt sell them i woulda bought amplids!!
