New skis help

hey ns, i've googled and everything and i've had to last resort to creating a thread.

I'm about 5'8" and weigh around 140. I like to ski WOODS/TRAILS mostly. I'm not too big on the park so I'm not looking for park skis, but something that i could maneuver well in THICK TREES and POWDER. What do you suggest?

I would look at the armada jj or the k2 obsethed both those ski are rockerd so they will be good

i was gonna say obsethed's as well. ive never ridden the jjs but i feel like they would be slightly hard to manuver, i have bibbys and theyre not the easiest, maybe look at some salomons

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm not a big fan of skis that are very wide they are harder to maneuver in the trees which is where I like to spend most of my sesh

Salomon shoguns? Light, 100 under foot so quicker edge to edge and they still float well. And they hold up pretty good in park if you go to park.

If u don't like wide skis for pow in the trees, u've obivously never been on anything tip and tail rockered, go demo the armada jj's, and k2 obsetheds. I would surmize that those would be ur best choices, both r super easy to maunver I really tight spaces and playful in pow. I woulds say that the jj's are a tinge more stable at speed tho. Go fat, u won't regret it, unless ur resort doesn't get very much pow, then I would look at the new volkl bridge

181 J-mo or 186 Billy Goat if you are looking for something fatter. Despite being 116 underfoot, the ski is nimble as hell due to the carbon fiber stringer, bamboo core and rockered tip and tail.
