ok so i work at a shop and am trying to get my employee discount on!
already have armada arv's and want to get a purely park ski... and can only get certain brands that we carry
info5'11"-6'0"~150lbs
options-atomic punx (only have 173's... 182's sold out. will this be big enough?)-line aftergbangs (not 100% sure there are any left)-salamon suspects (181's)
open to any other ideas. we carry line, salamon, atomic, rossignol, noridca, volkl.

hmmm i have afterbangsbut they kinda get beat up realllllly reallllly fast. coreshots, the woodensidewalls like cracking and mega splintering them. my ski got stuck under a box while doing a bindsoul and a huge fn peice off the wood+bass+edge was popping way out but i kinda pounded them back in, it handles edgecracks really nice tho. but i would try go for the punx

since you said your shop carries rossignol, i would get the rossignol s4 jib. they are a relatively stiff ski, really light and poppy. rossignol also has great durability on there park skis

check them out

Well the top sheet takes a beating, but I myself didn't have this issue and I do a lot of hippy killers. But, every person has a different experience.
I myself am a line addict. If your shop carries Lone Chronic Cryptonites, I would get those in a 178 or a 183 depending on what you prefer. I myself are waiting for my Step-Ups to come in soon. I like the skate deck construction myself and haven't had really any issues with it.
My 2 cents.

I'd stick with one these 3. Either S4s, Ace of Spaces or Walls. The Walls and AoS are symmetrical, S4s are not. S4s are stiffest, then AoS, then Walls. All 3 are really durable and quite fun considering their stiffness.

thanks for all the advice.
to clarify would the 173 punx be too small? im not a extremely aggressive rider but im not a pussy either
and ive heard a lot of bad things about the suspets. is this correct?

Yes they would. The supects are a great ski but have durability issues. If you are hitting some rails then try to stay away from them.

I would be either looking at the 177 walls or the 181 ace of spades. The walls are totally symetrical and are an amazing ski to ride, super snappy and fun. Plus they are very durable due to the nice thick sidewall.
