New Ski Porn Fall Teaser

Apparently a lot of humor must blow right over your head, because you failed to understand that the word "HARDCORE" was a non-serious reference to the movie title being "ski PORN"
 
Why would companies be funding a movie of the top pros and one of the biggest film makers if this wasn't a serious project? And I know it was a joking matter, I just don't understand why no one ever makes a good fucking movie in this industry. And if this movie is different than War, good job Poorboyz. But I haven't seen any change in the last 10 years!!! The riders are progressing, why isn't the moviemaking?

Listen people, I'm just fine with no having tons of editting in ski movies. Whenever I see tons of editting, I'm always thinking..."what the over-editting?""....so therefore, I'm a big fan of Poor Boyz. Steele Spence's part in Ready Fire Aim was too much editting for me. They show the action, and that's what I like. I would be a bigger fan of Teddy Bear Crisis IF the camera angles in SOME of the shots would have shown the action better.

That's my two cents. I'm looking forward to Ski Porn, end of story.

the game, propaganda, happy days, ready fire aim, X, and war

can you honestly tell me the differences in the movies other than the themes and soundtrack. its the same old thing, same style same just throwing clips together. yes the riding is sic, and yes poor boyz was the shit for a while but then it all started looking like the same old thing. MSP is doing the exact same they are getting further and further away from originality and that needs to change for the sake of the ski film industry.

Why claim a movie that is random clips thrown together, ski porn, raw footage with songs, i dunno about you but to me that sounds like laziness and a way to save a few dollars in order to make a few more

maybe i am totally wrong and if i am let me know but dont reply to this post with a fuck you, let me know what you really think,let me know what makes this movie better than the others.
 
It provides a platform for showcasing the progression of SKIING by giving you shot after shot of insane skiing, so that when your brain is shot you don't have to try to appreciate an artsy shot: it's plain skiing for your enjoyment.

The reason i wrote Fuck you was because I'm tired of this fucking whiny little shit kids who seeks some kind of wierd explaination to why a fucking movie has a word like "hardcore" in it.

It's unlogical and doesn't make any sence at all, not to mention he dude fucking starts monologing like he was on top of his shit. frustration, fact.

But I agree, PBP's movies are all linear. They don't have the lifestyle-feeling that L1, Plehouse etc. can provide. It's just pure mastrubation. hence the name Ski Porn.

matty i think they are just poking fun at hardcore adult films. they are hardcore sex movies that try at having a plot but fail miserably. it is just a joke man playing off their title of ski porn
 
Haha ya, I'm over saying stuff like that in forums, half of the reason is just to see what people say anyways. I will remember the best thing in the world my mommy taught me, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
 
yah but what about the people who just like watching people skiing with some music? I agree that better editing oculd be done but i like my pbp for that raw straight forward ski action
 
hahahaha, after last night with me she knows all about pornographic. i totally brought up that point when i heard the title for the movie a few months ago and i clearly stated that it was gonna loose business because of its name, i was super right...i was kidding about the night thing by the way. it was more like a full day!
 
i dont get what movies arent just "clips thrown together" every movie ive ever seen is the same format, except warren miller, which is clips thrown toegther, just with him commentating in the background the entire time. IF you dont wanna see just clips thrown together, go watch a real show or a real movie on tv. i dont buy ski movies to watch jack bauer kill nubs. i buy them to see pep dawg slay the gnar.
 
C'MON that's a weak arguement!

If you, and all the other people who are pro-non-estethic-movie-making, have any perception of what a well cut and edited movie is about you know how to appreciate it.

Yeah sure, great tricks are great tricks, but when you fucking live yourself into the movie, dreaming away in this beautiful 30+ minute experience - not just with great tricks, but with insight, passion, love, perspect and joy for the sport - It's totaly non-comparable.
