New ski game, inspired by the TGR Tracks game

again... very sick update.... came across a problem though... when moving cliffs, i dragged one into another trying to postion and then my firefox said the plugin performed an illegal operation and it made me close the window... not sure if this is just me or if this is a problem with the game... (i only played for maybe 2 minutes, tried to move some cliffs around and then it happened... so im gonna play some more and see if it keeps happening..
 
Distance records anyone? I've got a way to get 190 on the unmoved cliff setup, would be more, but the I'm still in the air when I leave the bottom.
 
My guy wont even move now. And when I go in the toolbar thing so I can drag the cliffs around I dont know how to get back to the skiing part? Help?
 
You just click Edit Level again. I really like the new update, and when Firefox crashes, just reload the page and it won't do it again...or so it seems to me. Biggest spin anyone? I got sw 1440, can't get past that, but I haven't moved the cliffs around much yet.
 
I think the error has something to do with the long cliff about a third of the way down, because it always does the error when I bump that cliff into another one, but didn't mind at all if I moved all the other cliffs together. The error happened with that long one 5 or 6 times in a row, but not with the others, but it may just be a coincidence.
 
got a 220 on the original setup, but that was a lucky punch..

so good to see this game get better and better, stocked every time i play it!

just flew 290 feet, no cliffs moved! just hit a few pillows, and suddenly my speed was like doubled. Is it supposed to do that, or is that a little bug or something?
 
That speed thing is a bug, but I thought it was fun so I didn't plan on fixing it right away.

At the moment, I'm most interested in interested in fixing the level editing crash thing, and getting the game to feel more like sliding around in powder instead of carving.
 
and im sure youve noticed quaz... but when i go switch my skis change the color of the bases of my skis... not a big deal but def odd

for sure give him a little bit of slide when he turns. or make a button so that you can slip downwards when your at 90 degrees so you can like, slash shit
 
Dude thats dope right there i threw a switch double lincoln! if there was one thing to change i would say slow down the spin speeds a little (not on flips or loops just spins)
 
one other thing, when i try to backflip the game scrolls down and i can't see the whole game window, kind of annoying. SWITCH TRIPLE FRNT FLIP!
 
if you're using a mac, command+shift+3 takes a screenshot and saves it on your desktop. Then you can crop it in preview to what you want.
 
I'm thinking Octograbs might be hard to see with the skier sized the way it is. I'm thinking Japans or Safety because of parallel skis, and truck drivers because that is a really distinctive body position.

For spins, it will keep printing out exactly how far you spin. Eventually you will want to be landing your spins dead on.

EthanJPAskier, try using WASD to control the skier instead of arrow keys.

I have the old versions saved. Haven't put them anywhere accessible though. I will eventually.
 
haha i got 200ft the i hit the next cliff at the bottom and went off the screen amnd didnt get my distance.
