New ski game, inspired by the TGR Tracks game

oh man, i'm stoked on the mountain expansion. the games gettin better and better by the day. keep up the good work man. maybe throw some grabs in there? simple ones tho like mute or tail that would be easy to see on such a small guy
 
the game's getting sicker but the controls are getting way worse and more complicated

i liked the simple arrow keys and a s for the whole game

So fun, i think yuo should make Z and X alternative for < > i feel like my hands are so close together because i use the arrows not ASDW. So fun though. It would be sicker if there was a first person view/view behind skier or a closer of the current view.
 
no lagging whatsoever, but im loving it.

maybe an an avalanche that carries you with it and you need to try to recover as it takes you over cliffs?

For guys with visual lag, try right clicking on the game and setting the Quality to Medium. Also, try Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. And check you have the newest Flash Player

Grabs, crash animations, spin counters, and some particle effects with the snow are on the list of stuff to do, but I have a few more things I want to try out first to see if they make the game feel laggy or run slowly on slower computers.
 
i can't do loops anymore, i have both < and > on the same button, and it doesn't do anything when i press it. Could you change the loop buttons to some other ones?
 
What kind of crazy ass keyboard do you have? I've never heard of that before. Are your period and comma on the same key too?
 
hey i dont know why i quoted you anyways you should make more cliffs setup so if you haul ass you can gap over the next one
 
wow you acctualy animated the guy a little but when he goes switch! i didnt notice till i right clicked and zoomed in. its really cool zoomed in
 
ill game i like the oringinal controls tho with the arrow keys much better try adding a grab or watever with the space or something also an avalanche def and maybe a rail? idk how that would work
 
I need a thesaurus to properly express how confused and amazed I am by that. I'll get some alternate keys working for you. I'll need to rethink the keyboard layout when I start adding grabs though.

 
i love how everyone is just talkign about the tricks, and not the amazingly fun lines that are doable with this game. NICE GAME!
 
If you could make it so the user picks what keys do what, just like in jibberish where you can assign keys to different grabs. that may be too hard to do i dunno
 
For now, that would be too complicated. There isn't a solid way to save settings in Flash like you can in a normal game sitting on the computer.

The controls aren't that complicated. I could probably do a better job explaining them.
 
I have the same problem here,

to resolve it, I need to change the keyboard settings (I'm using the French Canadian keyboard settings - it works when I put the settings to English, or Canadian Multilingual)

Changing the controls would be a definite +

Flash Ski Game

The tracks in the snow are a bit blurrier now since I'm using a smaller image to store those. It knocked about 20mb off of memory usage, so I'm hoping the game will run faster now.

New controls are in too. The writeup should make more sense now. The Zoom Out feature turned out way cooler than I was expecting. I'm thinking of moving it to the P key instead of - if people's keyboards aren't digging it.
