New ski game, inspired by the TGR Tracks game

I'm running into some wacky issue where if I revisit the game in Internet Explorer without clearing my cache the level doesn't scroll up with the skier. I'll figure it out tomorrow.

Flips, grabs, trees and a whole bunch of other stuff are on the to do list.

would be better with a metre to show you're air like Teton Tracks. I can't tell when I'm in the air or not.

When you get in the air, a little round shadow should appear to the top left of the skier. It will get closer to the skier as you get closer to the ground. I guess I can make it bigger/darker so it is more noticeable.

fuckin sick, i was thinkin about makin a remake of this game but u beat me to it. maybe add some flips and other rotations, bringing the meter would be sick too but another thing that would be cool that wouldnt be that hard would be a zoom function to get a closer view on the skier. just a thought.
 
Sweet jesus! You remember that? That one is going to stay on hold for now. I'm having a lot more fun working on and playing with this idea.

Moving to the overhead view lets me fake the physics with some really simple math which makes the game run much faster with large levels - that was the big problem with Draw And Ski. I can put much more emphasis on the visuals of the level instead of the skier which is something I'm better at too.

I do want to have some level editing ability in here eventually, even if it is as simple as just being able to drag the cliffs around to create new lines to ride.

Flips would be wicked fun

and maybe better definition of switch vs. forward

Is there no switch or forward? or is dark or light forward? just wondering i cant tell on my computer. sick game tho, flips would be sick to add.
 
oh and the landing could be just a little bit more forgiving. i like how you have to land straight but sometimes it doesnt give you a chance to pull it around.
 
One problem is I can go off cliffs like at a traversing angle and I just sail way to the left right and not down at all~
 
Shits dope! a good improvement/ play off of tgr. back flips and fronts would be a fun addition

Great game, really fun. It would be a bit better if you could tell when you're switch or regular tho. Maybe also a distance meter for the drops too. Make a park level!
 
such a sick game. i like that it's simple, for some reason i think that makes it fun. adding flips would be sick because that would open up corks as well. maybe some grabs and different levels, but great work and a great start.
 
How many spins are you able to get ? I can pull some 10s from the bottom left cliff, and sometimes i land a 12 or two on the little one on the far right.
 
game is so dope. biggest hit i have had is you take the two top cliffs on teh right real small and way to lookers right. then launch of the top pillow over all the others.
