New ski game, inspired by the TGR Tracks game

I love the new multiplayer, the only thing that would be nice is a moveable starting point. Also, corks were so sick in the older versions, any chance of those coming back? But mad props for making such a legit game!

Yeah the servers gawn again, had like 7 of us on and it was sick, then it froze and bam, cant reconnect now.
Also, any was you can remove the WASD controls from multiplayer, i think most people use the arrows and its sucks to move while typing!
Making tracks in the sky is pretty sick, glitch?!

Who wouldn't ski in the sky if they really could? I have the fix in code but not turned on, I want to figure out if that check slows the game down first.

Sanor, I can't get that method for repositioning the start point to work.

Something really weird I noticed is if I have NS open in another tab and there is a coreupt banner on it, the game runs slower. If I close that tab, the game speeds up again. Does this happen to anybody else?

naw dude, keep it off facebook, keep it to newschoolers. i mean quazbotch its ultimately up to you, whether you let everyone enjoy your hard work, but i like the idea of a newschoolers exclusive game. unless its not already, then disregard what i just wrote with exception to keeping it off facebook

what exactly are the 5 tricks you need to stomp to get all 5 grabs? cause i can only get four and i stomp alot of things....

on my pc i used to play this game so much but i just got a mac and its been really slow and sometimes i cant even play it but when it was up it was sick

Any 5 stomped tricks will do, as long as you don't repeat a trick while doing it. I usually do 1, sw 1, 3, 5, and sw 5, those are all pretty easy to stomp.

Yeah multiplayer finally worked for me! Cool stuff, though the text lagged. I wrote the same thing a couple times... Not that it matters, just was kinda funny.

Alaska is up for multiplayer now

You can zoom out and drag the green starting marker around if you want to session a certain cliff. The chat shows how many people are online at a time so you can tell if you are alone or not. I've noticed a few cases of skiers just getting stuck instead of disappearing when a player moves from one mountain to the other which I'll try to fix this weekend. Overall it seems to work. Let me know if it runs slower than the old version or anything.

I think I have the invisible thing fixed, although switching from BC to AK to BC you might see some skiers frozen on the screen. They aren't being removed like I thought they would. You might have to clear your cache anyway

i think the mutiplayer needs some sort of "speed control"

ive noticed this game runs at different speeds on different computers, this could be why theres so much lag in mutiplayer.

joeydude - you are dead on correct. Flash is known to be inconsistent when stuff is being updated by a timer instead of on the frame if the CPU is being used too much to render stuff on the frame, so it may not work that great anyway.

Ben. - if you see them laggy, they see you pretty laggy too. I'm running the server off a residential cable connection, so it isn't the greatest.

not_a_gangster - I'm working on the park. Jump line works, rails are in progress.
