okay well some of you might have known about this game. this game has it all, and is not sucky like JMMT, and its for the computer. Heres the problem, the guy released it on a freaking MAC, so it has no pc support, he says though if enough people email him to convert the game to pc he will do it because he wants to support skiing. okay here is the websitehttp://www.fakieflairchallenge.com this website has a sweet video that shows u how cool this game is, also here is his email jerome@fakieflairchallenge.com tell him u want this game converted, we have enough people on this site to do this. and this game is 2 cool to let it stayed non pc converted

I got so battered last night that I had to send my clients around the corner so I could run behind a tree to be sick. Unfortunately I fell into a snow hole under a pine tree and the impact of falling into an eight foot deep trench made me vomit on myself-love Bawbsy....

Firstly thanks to excuse my poor english ;)

I will try to answer all of you in this forum as I got too many mails to reply to ;)

Thanks to be as enthusiast as you are when talking about FFC!... That's just a little game for skiers, not especially for gamers as it's not THE hit game, but if skiers will have fun playing it some minutes, it'll be good...

For the one who tried it on macs, that's true it's currently hard to land correctly but the current dev version has a difficulty level setup and it's now easier to land as well as easier to grind... The only possible way to land correctly in FFC is to have the skis the most 'parallel' to the slope (I don't know if I'm clear).

Next version will be one more time a OsX version, so sorry ;), and that's just because I currently only have a mac as a decent computer...

For pc users, I spend last night trying to setup my pc (an old 350Mhz and GeForce: beurk!) in order to begin to try a pc port as soon as the next OsX version will be released, but don't expect a version before at least three months 'cuz I'm really busy at work, have the next mac version to terminate and there's currently snow here, so I must ride it... ;)

'Don't really know if anybody is still interested but I need some beta testers (and I prefer skier beta testers, that's why I came here ;)) for the FFC 1.1 beta mac os X version... See the website for more info...

Oh... just a note: testers must have a good internet connection because this version is about 25 mb :(

 
why dont u guys just emulate macs with your pcs? There is a program emulator that lets you run mac os like 7 or something on your pc...you have to set it up ( I did it took like 5 mins and you create a fake directory that you say is your mac hd....try that and install the game using the emulator and it should work fine..albiet a little slow if its graphics intensive and you dont have a good vid card/strong pc anyways.)

 
I play fakie flair on my mac. I am soooo good. I have mastered it to a complete science.

I can do corks, D-Spins, switch rodeos, misties...up to any spins....i can do any skiing trick except a bio. i am working on it right now too.

i'll post some vids of me playing it. its soooo ill.

The totally new 1.1 version of Fakie Flair Challenge is now available for MacOs X...

Go and have fun, this version have halfpipes and is really easier to play than the previous one! I'm preparing myself to release the trick editor to allow players to create their own grabs and put it in the game, then the slope editor (in rough format but usable) and then I'll try, perhaps, to begin a PC version...

theres no emulator for OSX and wtf dude, make a pc version already. half the people here are ready to kill u. well not really cuz then there would be no pc version, but that half of us doesn't think before we do thing. wow i just rambled mindless crap. sweet

okay, WHOEVER SAID DNA IS BETTER IS RETARDED. it takes you like 3 months to get wicked good at the game...but once your good ITS THE BEST...i can do every single thing pros can do. And with style. DNA can't compare to this game.

Hey! Stop asking the FFC pc port guys!! I've understood! ;) The only thing you need to understand is 'making a game, even if it's a shitty one, :p, is really long, and it's longer to do in your spare time'... so please be patient ;). I know it's been a long time you're asking the pc port but I have a lot of work and got so little spare time...

To talk about the MacOs X version again (for those among you who've got a mac), I've just posted on the site the position editor. Now you can make YOUR grabs, your positions, use them in your game, and share them... :)
