yea J.D is right its only 1000mm fir the $190 jacket and 3000mm for the puffy. Could be the reason for the prices idk

im a little skeptical of getboards.com because they're the only ones who have them in. not even siver cartel's website has em posted yet.

 
no need to be skeptical, getboards just gets the new stuff in really early. i was in the shop at snow summit last april and they already had next year's lines, among other things.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
Getboards list them as lightly insulated while siver will sell fully insulated and shell. Call getboards they don't know what they have or what is insulated and not they will just tell you what you want to hear. 189 for 1000 mm shell is a ripoff you can buy a kmart windbreaker and be dryer oakley is much cheaper for mm of waterproofing and oakley is the most expensive name out of all the possibilities. Siver has some work to do their streetwear has and will always be the shit. Also their pants suck donkey balls they make you look like a faggot.

I was so stoked to be buying a new Siver Cartel Jacket, and then I realized that its 3000mm Waterproofed at best. J.D. is right, have fun being wet. Orage's stuff this year looks sick. MSRP on some jackets is like $530 CAD though, hopefully that will come down a lot in retail stores.

I was gonna buy a Siver jacket. Then I realized that I'd get soaked. Especially on the westcoast. So now I've got my eyes on an NFA jacket.

Sometimes it becomes incredibly hard to fight the urge to make snow angels. I'm not sure how a Siver jacket would resist water in such intense situations.

dont be such the wuss..... i skied the past 2 years in a 120 doller puffy jacket from west 49.

Sure I got drenched, but i looked cool.. and isnt that what really matters?
