New simon dumont video

That was really cool. I've never seen dumont really shred rails, other than the urbans in TBC. He's got some steeze I think.

And Jossi's new double made me smile. That was super dope.
 
i just watched the simon recap on the empire site...HOLY SHIT the candide invitational jump was massive. legit scariest looking jump i've ever seen. it was a step down of like 12489012348190480312 feet vertical.
 
that was pretty cool to see simon doin jumps and rails, i just hope he wasnt lying when he said he wants to ski more all over and for fun also, he would gain a bit of respect from me, and probably alot of other people too. if he stops hating on no poles, and relaxes a lot more, then sweet, i wont think of him as such a tool, but thats gonna take alot.
i wanna see simon go a couple days no poles, that would be awesome.

btw, jossi was steezy as hell without poles, anyone know what outerwear jossi had?, is that this coming years oakley?
 
Wow you really have it out for him. Do you really think he took the time to say all of that stuff and slide rails just to appease some of the people on NS? He looked like he was having a chill day on the mountain to me, and had fun. Usually though, he loves to compete, and I dont understand why he gets so much hate for that, he likes the money camera time and rush of competition, and because he isnt out messing around on some booter in the BC people jump on simon for not being in touch with the "true" skier attitude. If thats something that makes skiing important then good for him. Lets face it, if all he wanted was fame and money he would not be a professional skier~
 
Why is it that newschoolers.com can only embrace one or two skiers? It's somewhat pathetic.

Simon showed he can still handle himself on the rails and that he's not just a gymnast. I think he will finally make a real run at slopestyle too. The Bio 7 over the pipe was sick, and his rail skills are underestimated or simply unseen. I thought it was a good video and I don't understand all the hate on Simon, why can't people just see that he is good at what HE does, he may not be good at what you do, or what Henrik does, but he is good at what he does. Everyone says it, everyone's got their own style, Simon has his own style and it works for him. You can't deny it, He has won enough comps to prove it. On a side note, I am looking forward to x pipe this year, cause I saw a sw 10, right side 9's, and not one allyoup trick, and we know from Olsson that simon was at least close to landing a double in the pipe, so this year could be a real battle for pipe supremacy, between Simon, Tanner, Jossi, Olenick, Hatviet, West, Riddle, Carlson, this could be the best pipe year ever.
 
who cares what sorta point he was trying to convey... it was sick footage and if he didn't have a name attached people would just see a sick skier lookin smooth as shit skiing

he's a way good skier, but people hate on him because of his attitude, everytime ive seen him he's been hating on kids with no poles, bein really cocky, and he's got this attitude like nobody else is there and he's so far above everyone else. everyone else ive talked to thats met him or seen him alot says the same thing.
hopefully he's gonna change, from that video, it seems like he's putting some effort into becoming more relaxed, friendly, and just having fun. but over the last couple years he has had this football player jock attitude.
i understand that its probably pretty damn easy, especially for someone so young, with all that fame and skill to get a little cocky, but not as bad as him. maybe once he gets used to all the fame and everything he will chill out.
whats cool about most pro's ive met is that they are super chill and you get this vibe like they are just another person and you could chill with them just like anyone else, but with simon, no way, its like he thinks he's a movie star.

i was suprised when he complemented jossi's skiing when he was going no poles, maybe he really is starting to relax!

wow jossi has some of the best park style in the game right now and did any body else see simons sw cork 3? One of the steeziest tricks ever.

the pattern is called nickel arch plaid and it is avaliable on the airlift and puffy jackets (both loose fit). I dno which pants it comes on though.
 
Dumont holds it down. People hate on him so unnecessarily. I think his style is whack at times but other times it is some of the best in the game--I'm not a fan of cork 12 nograbs in the pipe. I love his cork 3s and switch cork 3s, so dope. Its funny because the hate on NS.com isn't embodied by the ski community really. On the snow its all love.
