New season advice.

So my "mountain" finally opens on Friday (I know, bout time, Ohio's like that). I'm stoked for the season, and I'm gonna try to enter some comps this year, so we'll see how that goes.

However, I'm kinda lacking direction, haven't got any real legit advice in a long time. What do my fellow Newschoolers have to offer?

Greatly appreciate the feedback.

Oh that's what I was doing wrong!

See last year I was trying to do rotations with the scissors in my hands and yeah... put me out for a chunk of the season.

Ok maybe I should clarify, I don't suck completely.

I ski like 30% of the time switch, I got crossmutes down and most of the basic grabs. I suck with rotation though, Ohio jumps are small so it's gotta be really tight, I can do 'em when I go out west just fine.

Well I guess it's kinda lucky, but no shit we got DUMPED with like a ton of snow in October, and then just nothing until two nights ago. A guy I know on patrol says it's opening Friday but it's not confirmed, I think I may shit a brick if they don't open though, it sucks being a skiier in Ohio.

Damned Glaciers...
