You wouldn't believe how predictable the site traffic is. It's like clockwork. Every tuesday at 3:00 PST, bam: highest traffic of the week.

it seems to spike toward the beginning of the month. i think its because thats when everyone checks to see if theres a new front page pic

speaking of which..do they even do that anymore? when i go to ns it takes me right to the site instead of the front page thing...which i miss. and i dont even see the little option thing to view the front page.

Random guess but maybe that's because everyone gets paid and gets on NS to spend it all.

along with the ffact that it is september, if it is in fact lower than the usual, its prolly cuz all this new format is making NS lose its underground feel, it feels less and less like a community as these circuit city adds fill up my screen and the damn search bar sucks now, way bback it was like a fam, now its like were customers- and im not bashing the site runners, because i know running this shit is crazy expensive and they need to do this, but its just an unfortunate side effect

Alexa is incredibly inaccurate also. Its a given traffic is lower in the summer. Its the most bumping around Jan-April if I remember correctly when I saw the stats last.
