New School or Mainstream (Films)

Ok this is a theoritical question about the future of ski films. Do you think Newschool stuff like (PBP and Matchstick and Teton) will be the thing of the future, or will somone else come in and be the next Warren Miller, taking over the mainstream videos?

I only ask b/c it seems like all the new videos coming are from production companies that are not mainstream. WM has total domination of the mainstream films. What do you think?

ya, i know, mommy and daddy got me a cell hpone, but it was for safety reasons while driving the lexus they bought me.
 
It's like this. Newschool is huge but Warren Miller appeals to 80% of the general ski market and MSP or PBP probably only reach 30-40% if that. They put out sick movies but to the general public they don't seem awesome.

MPS is mainstream to this website, but not the 90% of the people who make up the ski industry and travel from home to ski at an area for vacation.

PS. These are the poeple who have the big bucks to spend also
